Anne Hathaway: Marie Claire U.K. Cover Girl

A new month means a lot of new magazine covers! Look for at least three today and don't worry-- I'm still waiting on the arrival of my Vanity Fair so I can brief you on J Lo's post-divorce interview.

Anne Hathaway is the cover girl for Marie Claire U.K.'s September 2011 issue. The actress was photographed in a figure flattering long sleeve Dolce & Gabbana dress that features a pattern of small and large stars.

During the interview, Anne opens up about her ex-boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri, who was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for conspiracy, money laundering, and fraud in 2008. Remaining positive and without getting in to specifics, she tell Marie Claire,

"People deal with horrible things all the time. Downstairs in the pub someone has a parent who is battling cancer. Someone has just lost their job. Life is really fucked up and it's really painful sometimes."

I wasn't expecting her to be so blunt! When asked about her current boyfriend of three years, Adam Shulman, Anne is more reserved

"Yes, I have a boyfriend. And yes, I am very much in love with him. But you do need to keep your private life private. Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fell in love like a fool," she tells Marie Claire.

She also spoke briefly about turning thirty,

"I think it's the beginning of a process that really blossoms when you hit thirty. It's when you stop apologizing for who you are. It's nice not to know things and thats ok. People aren't going to judge you for asking questions. That's such a freedom."

On the inside of the magazine, Anne is photographed in a stunning navy Valentino dress that features a tiered skirt with a lace overlay and a bow at the waist. She accessorized with Annina Vogel jewellery.
