As if Kid Cudi didn't have enought to deal with this month...he was held at gunpoint by police in Los Angeles Tuesday (Dec. 21), in a case of mistaken identity! (Wow) This happens just days after he left his opening slot on Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour.
His people say he left for schedule conflicts but everyone else pretty much speculates that it was definitely because he punched that fun! (Click here to get those details & hear what the fan had to say about getting punched!)
Ok so let's bring it back to what happened yesterday, Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was in the midst of a photo shoot for NME magazine when he and his entourage were pulled over on Fairfax Avenue by police offers in search of suspected robbers.
As news of Brittany Murphy’s death reached media outlets, many of Brittany’s coworkers, friends and fans took to Twitter to mourn the young star and remember her warmly. Alicia Silverstone, Brittany’s costar in Clueless, spoke to People Magazine about Brittany, saying “I always felt connected to her as we shared a very special experience in our lives together. I feel love in my heart for her – and hope she is at peace. This is truly sad.”
Alicia also said that though they “didn’t stay in close touch over the years” she was still “so saddened to hear this news. I loved working with Brittany. She was so talented, so warm, and so sweet.” Others chimed in on Twitter:
"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine," Ashton wrote on his Twitter page. "My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."
Ashton, whose romance with Murphy blossomed on the set of the comedy Just Married, added a special note to Brit herself, which really mad me tear...
“I am in shock that [Brittany] Murphy has died! Clueless is my all time favorite movie. My prayers go out to her family & husband”
"I am a bit thinner now than what I would like to be," Murphy, 32, admitted to Fox News' just 2 ½ weeks before her death on Sunday.

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

Store cards can charge extortionate yearly interest rates of as much as 29.9 per cent – almost twice the rate of a standard card. They may offer enticing initial discounts but there is nearly always a cheaper credit option available. Stores like to push their cards even more at Christmas so keep your guard up.
The internet is the best weapon. You can compare retail prices on everything from car insurance to games consoles. From cash-back offers to free shipping deals, the Internet is where budget meets ease.
Or what we like to call "re-gift!"
With the 2.5 per cent VAT reduction ending in January 2010, many retailers will kick off their Christmas sales early this year, but there should still be plenty of bargains around in the new year. January is the ideal time to pick up cheap Christmas gifts and decorations for next year.
Remember, it's the thought that counts! (Most of the time lol)
Save a fortune on postage and send e-cards this year for an eco-friendly, personalised alternative. There are plenty of free e-card websites such as Virtualgravy.com, but for just $7.25 a year you can send as many animated and musical e-cards from Jacquie-Lawson.com as you like. Or go to Elfyourself.com and have a good laugh!
