R&B singer NE-YO is backing a campaign against domestic violence, citing the 2009 fight between ex-lovers CHRIS BROWN and RIHANNA as "unacceptable."
The singer is donating proceeds from his new single Heroes to nonprofit organization Respect!, which aims to end abuse and promote respect in relationships.
And he spoke out against Brown's actions when he debuted the track at New York venue SL on Tuesday (Feb. 2, 2010), according to New York Post.
He told the crowd, "What happened between Chris Brown and Rihanna was unacceptable, and we need to all work together and make sure it never happens again, to anyone."
