The dolls are set to hit stores in December. The line of collectible figurines will feature the Biebs decked out in a variety of looks borrowed from his music-video and red-carpet appearances.

Merchandise company Bravado and the Bridge Direct Inc. announced Tuesday (September 28) that fans will be able to purchase the toys in time for the holiday season as they're expected to hit retail stores "on or around" December 4, according to Billboard magazine.

One set, the Justin Bieber Music Video Collection Singing Figures, plays 30-second snippets of the pop star's hits, like "Baby" and "One Less Lonely Girl." The musical dolls are priced at $27.99. Another set, priced at $17.99, is called the JB Style Collection and has the teen sensation flashing his street style or sporting some looks familiar to fans from awards shows and red-carpet events. (The toys are available for pre-order this week.)

In a statement, Justin said he was excited for fans to catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his life.

Jay-Z Dropped From Dr. Dre's New Album

Dr. Dre has apparently dropped Jay-Z's track from his long-awaited album. Don't worry there's no beef between these two hip hop giants, but he doesn't want any material on the record that's been heard before.

Jigga's 'Under Pressure' which was leaked online over the summer and has lead to it being scrapped from Detox's final track list as only 100% unheard tracks will be on there.

Confirming this week, Dre said: "There's no leaks that came out that's gonna be on the record. I got hard new s**t."

The super-producer also acknowledged that he was really disappointed that his music was leaked but he seems to have lots up his sleeve: "Had a little bit of leak in my security and what have you, but I got new s**t coming and trust me, it will not be a disappointment, you know what I mean? Michael Jackson's Bodyguard Says He's "Blanket's" dad!

Matthew Fiddes, a 29-year old former bodyguard for Michael Jackson, says he has reason to believe that he is the birthfather of Michael's son Blanket.

Fiddes says he donated sperm to MJ back in 2001 - Blanket was born in 2002.

Still, Fiddes said, "As far as I'm concerned, Michael Jackson is the father."

He's not even looking for custody.

"If anything happened to Mrs. Jackson, I think Tito Jackson and his sons would be best suited to look after Michael's children." He adds, "I don't want to create a war with the Jacksons again about something so private."

Bishop Eddie Long Addresses Sex Alegations to Congregation

Bishop Eddie Long addressed sex allegations made against him last week to his congregation today. It was the first Sunday service since the allegations have been made. Will Long keep his position, and respect of the people? Or will this ruin his reputation and possibly end with Bishop Eddie Long facing jail time?

"The more powerful a Christian leader becomes, the fewer restraints that other people can put on them," said the Rev. H.B. London Jr., vice president of ministry outreach for Focus on the Family. "Some of these men and women become so powerful that no one can tell them 'no.'"
In one of the biggest shocks ever for independent churches, "Some preachers see themselves as with the people," he said.

"Some see themselves as leading the people. And some preachers see themselves as on the mountaintop with God, above the people."

Over the last 20 years, Long became one of the most powerful independent church leaders in the country. He led New Birth as it grew from a suburban Atlanta congregation of 150 to a 25,000-member powerhouse with a $50 million cathedral and a roster of parishioners that includes athletes, entertainers and politicians.
This week, four young men who once belonged to New Birth filed lawsuits, claiming Long pushed them into sexual relationships when they were 17 or 18 years old with gifts including cars, cash and travel. Three of the young men live in Georgia, while the other was a member of a satellite church in Charlotte, N.C., run by Long.
Long denies the charges and plans to respond at Sunday worship services.
Meanwhile, Long, during a Friday conference call with supporters, said he was "under attack," WGCL-TV reports. The Atlanta TV station said it was on the conference call with parishioners from across the country.
"We will arise through this situation, and go forward, and we are moving forward," WGCL quoted Long as saying.
Long said several times that he had to be careful what he said because the case is in litigation, the station reported. He would not take any questions.
"I have never dealt with anything like this before. I have been under attack before, but everything else has been different levels and different challenges," Long said.
He said the truth would be revealed, and that he is praying for his accusers, according to WGCL.
"I always operate in the spirit of love, and we are going to move through this," he said.
Lavish lifestyles and autocratic leadership can combine to create a kind of religious celebrity and the temptations that go along with that, according to Christian journalist J. Lee Grady.

"In some ways, they're like television personalities," Grady said. "When they fall, it's loud, because everybody knows them. It's almost like success destroys people."

MARIETTA, Ga. (CBS/WGCL) Platinum-selling artist Chester "Lyfe" Jennings is headed back to the slammer to serve 3 years after pleading guilty to charges stemming from an incident with his ex-girlfriend two years ago.

The "Must Be Nice" singer was arrested in Smyrna, Ga. Oct. 19, 2008 after an apparent altercation with former girlfriend and the mother of his children, Joy Bounds.

Jennings reportedly kicked in the door where he assumed Bounds was staying and fired shots into the house, according to CBS affiliate WGCL. Police pursued Jennings in a high speed chase after he attempted to flee the scene, but he was eventually caught when he crashed his red 2005 Corvette, reports MTVNews.com.

The 37-year-old Jennings pleaded guilty on Wednesday to driving under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude police, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a weapon near a street, reports WGCL.

With his fate sealed, at least for the next three years, the R&B singer bid farewell to his fans via Twitter.

"This will be my last post," stated the singer according to MTVNews.com. "To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you.... I've lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won't, I don't have the right to complain. I would like to think that I've changed lives by changing my own, tho I can't be sure. But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever. Amen from aman... Smile, it's contageous:)"

Jennings spent 10 years in prison for a 1992 arson conviction in Ohio. He released his debut album "Lyfe 268-192" in 2004, attracting listeners with his heartfelt lyrics and distinctive raspy tone.

At the time of sentencing, Jennings reportedly asked to at least return home to say goodbye to his children before heading to jail but the judge refused.

The video of Lyfe Jennings’ sentencing showed friend and BET correspondent, Jeffery Johnson, defending Jennings, highlighting the positive improvements he’s made since contributing music to the music industry.

But that wasn’t enough to convince the judge who in the end sentenced Jennings to three and a half years behind bars.

“I did it… I know I gotta be punished for it and I just wanted the opportunity to apologize and that’s it,” Lyfe Jennings said in court before he was sent to prison to begin serving his time.

Lyfe Jennings Sentenced To Three 1/2 Years! [PHOTO]

Lyfe Jennings has finally reached a conclusion to the 2008 conflict with his babymama Joy Pound and it isn’t pretty. Details below:

Lyfe faced an Atlanta judge today and was sentenced to three and a half years jailtime as a result of that fateful confrontation with his ex-girlfriend. He was charged with DUI test refusal, criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or attempting to elude a police offer.

Yesterday Jennings asked his Twitter fans to pray for him before posting his final goodbye late last night.

According to reports, at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday, October 19th, Smyrna Police responded to a report of gunshots. As they approached the scene they spotted, Columbia recording artist, Lyfe Jennings (born Chester J. Jennings) leaving the area in his 2005 red Corvette.

Jennings, who was incarcerated from 1992-2002 on an arson charge, led the police on a chase, which ended when he crashed his car.

The 35 year-old crooner was arrested and charged with attempting to elude and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which are both felonies. He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusal to take a sobriety test.

Lyfe was finally convicted for these charges and will now be serving 3 and a half years.

L.A. Reid Fired From Def Jam?!

Looks like that multi-million dollar deal L.A. Reid cut with rapper Shyne pushed the Def Jam board over the edge.  We hear he just got his pink slip yesterday. 





It's been talked about for over a year now.  After Kevin Liles was "let go" last year from Atlantic, rumor had it that Chairman and CEO of Island Def Jam Music Group L.A. Reid would be next.





Our source inside the Def Jam offices tells us that Mr. Reid, who was responsible for signing Mariah Carey, Pink, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Ciara, and OutKast, copped his walking papers yesterday afternoon.





"Def Jam fired L.A. Reid," the source tells us.  "He got the boot from the Board of Execs yesterday."





Of course, the Def Jam folks are planning to keep the announcement very P.C.  They will likely put out a statement saying things were cordial and/or mutual.  But that's def not the case, according to our source.   Def Jam indeed did not renew his contract.  We're not privy to the details on the reasons behind the split.  But we do know lots of politricks were involved.





We also hear Sylvia Rhone, Executive VP at Def Jam's parent company Universal, is next on the chopping block if Kelly Rowland's next album doesn't do well.

Record Label Orders To Lady Gaga Put On Weight

Yup! Usually we hear to loose weight but Lady Gaga's record label, Interscope, has ordered her to gain some pounds! (They must have liked how that "extra meat" looked on her at the VMAs! Haha)





But seriously thought, the word it that Gaga has apparently been urged by management at Interscope that she must put on weight following a number of health scares this year.



 

"She was baffled by the request since the industry usually only wants skinny," quoted an insider as telling to MTV.





"She feels like she almost can't win either way. Her record company said she can't continue moving at breakneck speed without eating. These habits have to end right now," the insider added.

Dr. Conrad Murray Calls MJ's Kids To Testify

Dr. Conrad Murray is reportedly set to call in Paris and Prince Jackson as two defense witnesses in the manslaughter trial against him over the death of Michael Jackson. He believes their testimony could prove that the pop icon was indeed a drug-addict.

"After saying goodbye to her dad at the hospital, Paris said, 'My daddy is so cold again. He was always cold. He would sit by the fire to get warm. Bruno Mars Gets Arrested For Drugs! The Bathroom Attendant Snitched!! Details inside w/ Mug Shot...

Never underestimate the humble bathroom attendant -- because according to Las Vegas police it was he the the one who helped cops bust Bruno Mars in a casino bathroom this weekend.


Are you thinking what I'm thinking? "Damn...a lot of celebs are getting exposed lately for this drug, right?"

Well, I'm sure there will be plenty more celebs exposed for this after Bruno. But there is a police report from the incident, in which LVMPD officials state a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel informed security "there was a man in the bathroom stall with possibly a man using drugs."

According to the report, the attendant went on to say he could "see a male in a striped red shirt with a baggy of white powder substance."

Once law enforcement officers made their move -- cops say they asked Bruno to "give over whatever narcotics he had." According to the report, Bruno then "pulled out a white powder substance, which was consistent with cocaine, from his left-front jeans pocket."

Cops say Bruno --aka Peter Hernandez-- "admitted he did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before."

The report shows ... once the substance "came back positive for cocaine," Bruno was shipped off to the Clark County Detention Center and booked for possession of narcotics.

This would be the follow up to the "Graffiti" album.

Paris Hilton Admits to Cocaine... Dodges Jail Time

Paris Hilton entered guilty pleas on two misdemeanor counts in a Las Vegas court and was placed on probation for a year Monday morning under a plea deal to settle a cocaine possession charge.
Hilton admitted to the judge that cocaine found in a purse she was carrying after a traffic stop last month was hers and that she lied about it.
"I said that the purse wasn't mine to the officer, your honor," Hilton said.
A felony cocaine possession charge was dropped in exchange for Hilton's guilty pleas on misdemeanor charges of drug possession and obstruction of an officer.
The celebrity-socialite will have to stay out of legal trouble for the next year or face time in a Las Vegas jail, Judge Joe Bonaventure told her. Any arrest, other than a minor traffic citation, would trigger a probation violation ruling, he said.
"The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf Astoria," Bonaventure said to Hilton.
The judge also ordered Hilton to complete an intensive substance abuse program.
"We've arranged for Ms. Hilton to be in an outpatient program," defense lawyer David Chesnoff told the judge.
Hilton also will have to pay a $2,000 fine and complete 200 hours of community service, the judge said. She will not have to report to a probation officer.
"You have to understand When you break the law here, there are consequences," the judge said.
Bonaventure said it is not unusual for such felonies to be reduced to misdemeanors for defendants with no criminal record.
"This is a typical negotiation," he said.
"I know that Ms. Hilton is contrite and accepts responsibility for her actions," Chesnoff said.
Hilton was arrested after a traffic stop on the Las Vegas strip on August 27. A motorcycle officer reported smelling the odor of marijuana coming from the Cadillac Escalade driven by her boyfriend, Cy Waits.
A small plastic bag of cocaine fell out of a purse she was holding and into the hand of a police lieutenant while Hilton was being questioned, according to the police report.
Hilton does have a criminal record, including a Los Angeles drunken driving arrest in 2006. She was arrested three times in the following months for driving on a suspended license.
She spent two days in jail in June 2007 before Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca released her, saying she could complete her 45-day sentence at home. The next day, however, a judge ordered her to return to jail, where she remained 18 more days.

Reading over this list I think DANG I watch a lot of movies, but who doesn’t? I don’t get to write about them as much I would like to, but I’m not a critic anyway. I haven’t done this in a while, but as you can see by the list that I’ve wanted to.

For older movies that I had a repeat viewing of I also included the date of release in [brackets]. I kind of separated them into three sections, but generally I’ve seen these movies between May and September 2010.

There are some “hidden gems” included on this list. Some of these movies are little known, but I found out about them and when I finally did see them they were good. I highlighted them in RED.

Films in theaters now worth checking out as of this publishing Takers & The Town and Devil. Takers & The Town are both heist movies, but both worth checking out.

So here's a quick rundown on the films I have seen recently all ratings are 1-5 stars with some minor commentary.

· Iron Man 2 3 stars. Solid.

· Robin Hood 1 ½ stars. (about a ½ star for the directing)

· Raw [1987] (repeat viewing) 5 stars. Still so effing funny

· Charlie Murphy: I Will Not Apologize NO stars. When talking about the Michael Richards (Kramer from ‘Seinfeld’) racist rant Howard Stern said this, (Paraphrasing) “Some people are “Comedic Actors” and NOT “Stand-Up Comedians”.” The same can be said for Charlie Murphy.

· The Princess Bride [1987] (repeat viewing) 4 stars. Classic!

· Star Trek: First Contact [1996] (repeat viewing) 4 stars

· Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay [2008] 3 stars. Same kind of stoner humor and same funny.

· Jennifer's Body [2009] 1 star. Horrible.

· Date Night 2 stars

· The Karate Kid [2010] 4 stars. Terrific remake, wasn’t expect it to be.

· Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths [2010] (animated) 4 ½ stars. Has all the “All-Stars” Superman, Batman etc. with wall to wall great action.

· Nothing But a Man [1964] 3 stars. Good movie, but hard to watch. Story is a downer. Best portrayal of racism by a white director though, they usually never get it right.

· Where the Wild Things Are 4 stars. Great live action children’s film.

· Menace II Society [1993] (repeat viewing) 5 stars

· She's Gotta Have It [1986] 3 stars. Good movie, but more an exercise in cinematography (camera work) than anything.

· Disappearing Acts [2000] (repeat viewing) 4 stars. One of the BEST depictions of black relationships on film.

· Pitch Black [2000] (repeat viewing) 4 stars

· Unthinkable 3 ½ stars. Starring Samuel L. Jackson, finally a movie he does some real acting in!

· Inception 5 stars

· GoodFellas [1990] (repeat viewing) 6 stars

· Memento [2000] 3 stars. Good movie, but I was really trying to get to the end (beginning?) to get to the mystery. Probably will go up in stars after I watch it again.

· Ripley’s Game [2003] 4 stars. A sequel to ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ [1999] with John Malkovich taking over the role of Tom Ripley from Matt Damon. Malkovich is THE REASON to see this sequel. He is fantastic as the older Tom Ripley. Matt Damon’s Tom Ripley was kind of a punk. Malkovich’s is SO gangsta. You got to see the film to see what I mean.

· Up [2009] (animated) 5 stars. Terrific! This film is as wonderful as everyone says it is.

· Salt 2 stars. Same ol’ counter-intelligence stuff I have seen done better in other films.

· This Filthy World [2006] 3 stars Saw this while channel surfing on cable early morning and was pleasantly surprised. Starring John Waters in a one-man show discussing his life and career in front of an audience. Funny, witty and entertaining.

· Sherlock Holmes 4 stars. This movie was better than I thought it would be. Great direction from Guy Ritchie. Personally the only drawback was the thick cockney accent that Robert Downey Jr. applied. I had to turn on the captions 5 minutes into the movie to understand what he was saying.

· The Book of Eli 3 ½ stars. 2 ½ for the movie 1 whole star for the ending.

· The Expendables 1 star. Should have been more fun than it was.

· The Godfather [1972] (repeat viewing) 6 stars

· The Godfather, Part II [1974] (repeat viewing) 6 stars

· The Last Exorcism 2 ½ stars. Explains everything in the film. Doesn’t leave you hanging, but only ok.

· Takers 3 ½ stars. Better than I thought it would be

· Beverly Hills Cop (1) [1984] (repeat viewing) 4 ½ stars

· Harry Brown 3 ½ stars. Gritty & raw with the excellent Michael Caine.

· Revenge of the Nerds [1984] (repeat viewing) 4 stars. Haven't seen this film in about 20 years & it's still funny & it's still a classic.

· Boomerang [1992] 4 stars. One Eddie Murphy’s best films and definitely one of the best ensemble black casts since he was ‘Coming to America’.

· The Godfather, Part III [1990] (repeat viewing) 3 stars. Not a classic like the 1st two parts, but I still liked it. Mostly for Andy Garcia and the shocking ending.

· The Score [2001] (repeat viewing) 3 ½ stars. Solid heist movie.

· Justice League: The New Frontier [2008] (animated) 2 stars. Ok. Has all the heroes in it, but a different kind of story.

· Machete 2 ½ stars .Ok. Didn’t hate it. Kinda bloody, but a movie called Machete…

· Training Day [2001] (repeat viewing) 3 ½ stars mostly for the performances of Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.

· Batman: Under the Red Hood [2010] (animated) 3 stars. The coolest thing about this film was the villain Red Hood. He was the anti-Batman, killing bad guys. Cool.

· The Town 4 stars. Again, better than I thought it would be. Seen a thousand heist/robbery movies and this one managed to have a different angle.

· The Perfect Storm [2000] (repeat viewing) 3 stars. Solid movie.

· One False Move [1991] 3 ½ stars. Heard a lot of good things about this movie back when it came out. Finally saw it and it wasn’t THAT good, but it was good. Surprisingly, one of the stars Billy Bob Thornton, was horrible.

· Devil 3 stars. Solid movie.

· Malcolm X 5 stars. [1992] (repeat viewing) My second favorite Spike Lee Joint.

Movies I Have Seen Recently-April 25, 2010

Ok here's a quick rundown on the films I have seen recently all ratings are 1-5 stars with some minor commentary.
•Zombieland 3 stars. Cool movie.
•Paranormal Activity 1 star. Not scary or suspenseful despite what the commercials and online ads say.
•Kick-Ass 3 stars. Funny, crude and violent, but I liked it.
•Why Did I Get Married Too? 3 ½ stars. Good flick. Not better than the 1st one, but good job by everyone.
•Clash of the Titans 1 star. Horrible. The action was weak on a television series scale. Think ‘Hercules: The Legendary Journeys’ on the big screen. Don’t need blood. I enjoyed ‘The Mummy’ (1st one) and it had no blood.
•Robocop [1987] (repeat viewing) 4 stars. Classic film. Of course the special effects technology is better now, but watched it again to see if it held up. It did.
•Death at a Funeral 1 star. Horrible. Only a couple of funny moments, but the whole cast didn’t gel. No chemistry AT ALL.

•Ninja Assassin 2 ½ stars. Usual revenge, clan, master crap. Very bloody, live action anime movie. It was cool though. I didn’t hate it.
•Predator [1987] (repeat viewing) 4 stars. Classic film. Still cool. Still great group of soldiers Bill Duke, Carl (Apollo Creed) Weathers, the big Indian guy from ’48 Hrs’, Jesse “The Body” Ventura and of course Schwarzenegger.
•Brothers 1 star. Wanted to see this in the movie theater. Looked like a good date movie. WRONG. The movie was pretty horrible. Waste of time.
•Citizen Kane 5 stars. I've heard the "greatest movie ever made" for a long time, but never sat down and watched it for myself and WOW. I don't know if it is the "greatest ever" yet, but masterful, masterful filmmaking on all levels. We had to watch some of the scenes in college and while I totally saw why the professor showed it to us I wasn't ready to watch it, I guess until now. I've said before that I can "turn off the filmmaker" the 1st time I watch a film and just enjoy it as a viewer, but gotdamn it was so beautifully shot I just couldn't. WOW.

Movies I have seen recently-March 7, 2010

Ok here's a quick rundown on the films I have seen recently all ratings are 1-5 stars with some minor commentary.

• Surrogates 1 ½ stars. A sci-fi TV movie that could have been made for SyFy channel.

• Edge of Darkness 2 stars. Good ending, but mystery is tooo drawn out and talky.

• The Wolfman 3 stars. Gets a little talky as well, but when it "wolfs out" it wolfs out!

• The Hurt Locker 4 ½ stars. Very good motion picture.

• Up in the Air 3 ½ stars. Exceeds on all levels, but nothing spectacular.

• Precious 4 ½ stars. Amazing motion picture.

• Brooklyn's Finest 1 ½ stars. sluggish and uneven. Lackadaisical performances.

• Shutter Island 4 stars. Good bordering on very good. A little too long. Great direction...of course (Martin Scorsese).

Jay-Z & Coldplay Set To Have Concert New Years Eve

Jay-Z and Coldplay are reportedly organizing a New Years Eve concert to welcome 2011 at the luxurious Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas resort.





The word is that the deal is worth millions, and entrance will be invitation only. Insiders have also claimed that Jay-Z's singer wife Beyoncé Knowles is planning to play a separate concert in the US city on December 31 so she can be near her husband.





"Organizers have spent millions securing the acts. The word is that Beyoncé is now looking for a Vegas New Year's gig so she will be in town with Jay," a source told the New York Post.





The concert is the brainchild of event planner to the stars Colin Cowie, and will feature separate performances by Jay-Z and Chris Martin's band Coldplay before they appear on stage together.





Chris first collaborated with Jay-Z in 2006 on the rap star's album Kingdom Come, and they also played tour dates together in the UK last year.

Katy Perry Gets Bachelorette Party from Rihanna in Sin City / Her Finace` Gets Arrested Same Day! Check out the photos...

Miss Rihanna threw her BFF, Katy Perry a bachelorette party and they celebrated in Sin City, along the Las Vegas strip. They did it up with the festivities beginning in a private cabana at HRH Beach Club at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

But the party didn't stop there.


After the poolside affair, it was off to a performance of Cirque Du Soleil's KA at the MGM grand in a stretch limo, and then to dinner and drinks at AGO.

Celebrating her last days of singledom, Katy was ready to party!! She tweeted

"signing up for a liver transplant now"

But being the "party animals" that they are...the party actually kicked off right at the airport!!

Katy's soon to be husband, Russell Brand, was arrested for battery on a photographer earlier that day as he was about to board a flight to Las Vegas with his fiance`.

Katy says,

'He's a total bridezilla.'
