"TWEET OF THE WEEK" Rapper The Game Tweets May Land Him In Jail...

Tweet responsibly...

Rapper The Game could face criminal charges after he tweeted the phone number of the sheriff's station in Compton, CA -- but told people it was the number to call for an internship -- causing the station's phone lines to become overrun with calls and delaying emergency services.

The calls began around 5:20 PM PT, with most callers hanging up when they heard it was a sheriff's station ... and the rest asking how they could intern for The Game.

Deputies eventually discovered The Game's tweets and Sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker tweeted at him to put an end to it...

U Tweeted phone# of Sheriff & said 2 call 4 internship when there is none. Lg.vol.calls R compromising publicsafety

The Game eventually responded saying,

Yall can track a tweet down but cant solve murders ! Dat was an accident but maybe now yall can actually do yall job !!!!
It didn't end there, Capt. Mike Parker tweeted The Game again asking him to remove his tweets,

We again ask U 2remove Sheriff phone# as if intern job harmed publicsafety

and another one....

Plz delete Tweet off UR wall of phone# that begins with 310: This is compromising public safety. Hi # calls

After The Game stirred up Twitter some more, he eventually deleted the tweets with the phone number and wrote,

P.S. who killed Biggie & Pac ???

The calls ended around 8:00 PM, but Capt. Parker said it was unclear how many people with legitimate calls could not get through during that time.

According to the Sheriff's Department, they plan on turning over a complaint to the District Attorney's office to possibly file charges -- including delaying or obstructing a peace officer in the performance of their duties.

Should Game get charged for Tweeting?

UPDATE:

Game says he never authored the tweet in question and that he was in the middle of a photo shoot Friday night when a childhood friend of his -- whose Twitter handle is @wackstar -- began going to town on The Game's phone ... typing in five phone numbers and calling people to action.

The Game insists his friend had no idea one of the numbers went to the Sheriff's Department.

Capt. Parker says
"The investigation continues."

"We find the rapper's alleged comments in news media reports and on Twitter interesting and relevant, including who he says is actually responsible. "

Capt. Parker wants Game to contact the Sheriff's Department so they can sort this all out.

UPDATE (August 17, 2011)

The Game is officially in the clear after allegedly tweeting the phone number of the Compton Sheriff's Station in L.A. .... to over half a million people.

Captain Mike Parker just released a statement, claiming,
"The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will not be seeking criminal charges."

Captain Parker says the apology was
"relevant and well-received."

Celebs Bribing The Police? A-Rod, Jay-Z & The NYPD Under Investigation!

Wouldn't you love to have your speeding or red light tickets disappear? Well, your favorite celebrities are..... with a little help from the good 'ol police department.

Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez, the Bronx Bombers’ formidable late owner George Steinbrenner and hip-hop star Jay-Z are among the celebrities who had speeding and other moving violations wiped away by members of the NYPD, reports say.

Three current City Council members also had tickets disappear.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the accusations involving these men are part of an ongoing investigation into possible rampant ticket-fixing by police union delegates.

Up to 40 NYPD officers could be arrested and at least 100 others could face departmental charges in the probe.

An NYPD sergeant ended up nixing a speeding ticket a highway cop gave A-Rod on the West Side Highway in 2009, reports the News. The Yankees declined the News’ request for comment on the allegations involving A-Rod. A-Rod’s spokesman declined to comment as well.

A driver for Jay-Z also got a speeding ticket while driving on the West Side Highway, but a police officer “lost” the violation and the case was tossed, reports the News. Jay-Z’s publicist declined the paper’s request for comment.

The ongoing official investigation could bring more serious charges to some officers, who were caught on wiretaps arranging to meet and pay for dates with prostitutes, and trying to bribe their union delegates into dismissing summonses and arrests for either themselves or family members.

According to reports, investigation findings so far include:

  • More than two dozen police officers fixed summonses in exchange for gifts, including tickets to Yankees games.
  • At least 15 officers intentionally "lost" tickets as a favor to fellow officers.
  • Dozens of cops asked union delegates to fix tickets for friends, relatives and "influential" figures, including unidentified city government officials.
  • A handful of officers tried to have arrests voided for themselves or relatives.

Prosecutors from the Bronx district attorney's office are presenting evidence to a grand jury which ends May 28, but was extended another 30 days. Grand jurors were informed late last week that testimony in the case will likely be heard until June 20, reports the News.

"Ugly Better" Actor Stabs Mom To Death w/ Samurai Sword (Details + Photo)

Michael Brea, a 31-year-old actor seen on 'Ugly Betty' and 'Step Up: 3D,' allegedly stabbed his mother to death with a samurai sword in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Prospect Heights on Tuesday morning, police tell local TV station NY1.

Neighbors heard Brea yelling what they believed to be biblical passages and repeating the word "repent" during an argument in the night. Michael's Haitian mother, Yannick Brea, 55, was later found dead with multiple stab wounds. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told NY1 that Brea was holding a Bible when police entered the apartment.

"I would say he was a down-to-earth, cool, hard working person,"
a neighbor said.
"I couldn't see this coming at all."

Police say the scene was "extremely bloody." It is reported that Brea decapitated his mother and that police used a taser to subdue Brea when they arrived at the scene at around 2:20AM. These claims have not been verified by other sources.

The A.V. Club casts doubt on Brea's status as a professional actor -- he doesn't, after all, have an IMDb page -- justifying skepticism by "a complete lack of supporting Internet evidence." Other outlets are referring to Brea as an "aspiring actor."

In an interview with Haitian film site BelFilm in 2009, Brea said:
"I remember growing up and my mother was always feeding people who were less fortunate. My parents raised me to always share and to give charity in the name of God."
It's reported that Brea also owned a Subway restaurant in Brooklyn with his brother.

Neighbors described the mother and son as "quiet people." The neighbors also say,
"Brea did not give any outward indication of mental illness, and it is unknown what made the actor snap. He apparently had an affinity for martial arts."

"I heard a shriek, someone yelling, and after that probably like a, 'Help me.' And probably about five minutes after that the sound went away,"
said another neighbor.

This is some serious stuff! As fans of "Ugly Betty," we do not remember him nor can we find out what character Brea was on the show.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Back In Court For Domestic Abuse Case & Grand Larceny!

November 2nd, it will be Floyd Mayweather Jr’s day in court again for domestic abuse. On 2005, Josie Harris made a similar accusations and later was dropped saying she had lied and Floyd Mayweather Jr had not in truth assaulted her.

Sep 10, 2010

Whether she really did lie, can be debated because in many domestic abuse cases the victim often will retract their story and claim it never happened when in truth it happened. What made this current domestic abuse case against Floyd Mayweather are the witnesses, Floyd Mayweather’s own children. Especially Floyd’s 10 year old son, Koraun made a statement to the police that he seen his father hit and kick his mother. According to the testimonies, Floyd Mayweather threatened to beat his children if they leave the house to get help or call the police. Floyd instructed several of his friends to block the doors so to prevent his children from leaving(to get help). Whether it is the truth or not, we will hear the nitty gritty when Floyd Mayweather heads to court on November 2nd, 11 days before Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Antonio Margarito.

Bruno Mars Gets Arrested For Drugs! The Bathroom Attendant Snitched!! Details inside w/ Mug Shot...

Never underestimate the humble bathroom attendant -- because according to Las Vegas police it was he the the one who helped cops bust Bruno Mars in a casino bathroom this weekend.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? "Damn...a lot of celebs are getting exposed lately for this drug, right?"

Well, I'm sure there will be plenty more celebs exposed for this after Bruno. But there is a police report from the incident, in which LVMPD officials state a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel informed security "there was a man in the bathroom stall with possibly a man using drugs."

According to the report, the attendant went on to say he could "see a male in a striped red shirt with a baggy of white powder substance."

Once law enforcement officers made their move -- cops say they asked Bruno to "give over whatever narcotics he had." According to the report, Bruno then "pulled out a white powder substance, which was consistent with cocaine, from his left-front jeans pocket."

Cops say Bruno --aka Peter Hernandez-- "admitted he did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before."

The report shows ... once the substance "came back positive for cocaine," Bruno was shipped off to the Clark County Detention Center and booked for possession of narcotics.

Always remember to tip your bathroom attendant.

Flloyd Mayweather Allegedly Punches His Baby's Mom In Her Head! Arrested For Grand Larceny, get the 411...

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was just released from Clark County jail

Mayweather didn't have a thing to say about his arrest on a grand larceny charge earlier today ... an arrest that stemmed from an alleged domestic incident at his baby mama's house......

Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s baby mama claims the boxer struck her "multiple times in the head with his fist" and then threatened to kill her.

Josie Harris went to court yesterday and filed a request for a restraining order against Mayweather -- and in the docs she states that Floyd came into her Las Vegas home Thursday morning and awoke her by,
"pulling me by my hair and throwing me on the ground in my living room and began punching me in my head."

She claims Floyd then began
"dragging me on the floor and twisting my arm back ... in attempt to try and break it."

According to the documents, Josie claims Floyd
"continued to beat me in front of [the couple's three children]."

Josie claims that Floyd threatened the children -- saying if they
"ran or tried to call the police he would beat them the same way."

In the docs, Josie also says Mayweather
"yelled and screamed that he was going to kill me and my boyfriend and make sure we are taken care of."

Interestingly -- Josie claims, in the docs, Mayweather had been at the house roughly two hours before the alleged attack -- and was yelling at her about her new boyfriend.

Josie claims she had to call police ... who arrived and escorted Floyd out of the home.

But according to Josie, the boxer didn't stay away ... and Mayweather re-entered the home through her son's side bedroom door -- and that's when the alleged attack went down.

Mayweather was booked and held on $3,000 bail.

He was not charged on the Domestic Violence so far. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mayweather was arrested and booked for grand larceny related to the domestic incident. According to the report, Mayweather allegedly took personal items from Harris' house.

If this is all true indeed....shouldn't Flloyd be charged more than the average man? He is licensed as a boxer...

50 Cent is taking Flloyd's side on this but seems to somewhat agree with me on the fact that he is a boxer and a hit from him would not be the same as the average man.

“Another case of angry baby momma wanting momma. Police are looking for @FloydMayweather, I just got off the phone with him...she's claiming he hit her but has no brusies. Floyd went to see his kids last night, if a fighter of Floyd caliber hits you, you would be bruised…I talked to him before and after the situation, he wasn't even upset. He said he asked her why the house was so dirty and she started trippin…”

T.I. Denies Snitching To Get Less Jail Time!

Shawty Lo's Ex-Fiance Arrested on Weapons Charges

Posted by: Staff Writer Young Black Muhammad

The ex-fiance of rapper Shawty Lo was arrested Wednesday after police say she attempted to bring a fully loaded weapon into a local courthouse.
Ecreia Laki Perez was taken into custody after police found a semiautomatic hand gun and a stun gun that looked like a cell phone in her purse when she tried to enter the Fulton County courthouse.
When questioned about the weapons, Perez told authorities she “forgot” she had the items on her.
The Fulton County courthouse is already on alert for weapons because the infamous Brian Nichols shooting took place in 2005, leaving a judge, court reporter and sheriff's deputy dead. There are signs posted everywhere that weapons are not allowed in the courthouse, and these signs can not be missed.
Perez has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a weapon to a public gathering.
Her engagement to Shawty Lo was suddenly called off in August just months after the Atlanta rapper proposed. The rapper had this to say about ending the 10 year relationship in which they had a daughter together: "Things happen. I can't point no fingers," "We were separated, the engagement lasted probably a month. It was a 10-year relationship, I love her still, but it's time to move on. It's over. I'm finnin' to move on. I got everything new going for me."
There was speculation that Perez stole money from Shawty LO but the rapper has since denied those claims.
He was not at the courthouse at the time of her arrest.

When searching the vehicle cops found a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us the controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy.

Paris Hilton Arrested For Cocaine! Says It Wasn't Hers... GET THE 411

Paris Hilton was arrested for possession of cocaine Friday night in Las Vegas.

According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug-related, not alcohol) and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.

Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine.

Paris' boyfriend, Cy Waits, was arrested as well. He was booked on a charge of DUI.

Sources who have spoken with Paris since her arrest on the Vegas strip late last night say... she insists the purse -- with what we're told contained a small amount of cocaine -- was not hers.

She's hired powerful Vegas lawyer David Chesnoff to handle the case ... and he already got her sprung without posting bail.

You'll recall Paris used the "the-drugs-weren't-mine" defense in South Africa last month, after being detained by police. No charges were filed against her.

As for the Vegas case, as far as we know she was the only woman in the car that was stopped, but she had been partying at a club prior to the bust where other women and purses were present.

T.I. Denies Snitching To Get Less Jail Time!

Rapper T.I. has denied snitching to avoid a lighter jail sentence for his gun possession charge in 2009. He believes that his community helped him earn that lighter sentence and nothing else.

He says:
"What people don't take into consideration is the reason that I was eligible for certain agreements that they weren't eligible for was because I made myself a useful member of society. Most muthaf*ckas catch cases and get time. My n*gga, you wasn't doing sh*t when you was out here, so wasn't no reason for them to keep you out here.

“Please understand the G code that I learned from, if you speak out your mouth that a muthaf*cka is telling on somebody and you can't come with indisputable, irrefutable facts to support that statement, that makes you the sucker. You are now in violation of the G code. And there ain't nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin' I was on they paperwork."

Justin Bieber's 1st Twitter Arrest!!

We have heard of people getting fired because their use of Twitter whether it's at the job, school or wherever. But a Twitter arrest?!

Leave it to Bieber to have the very 1st Twitter arrest on his hands!

Justin Bieber's manager Scott "Scooter" Braun and his legal team were back in court yesterday to argue that Braun's reckless endangerment charges stemming from a Long Island, New York mall incident should be withdrawn.

At the hearing, Braun's lawyer Ravi Batra argued Nassau County police and mall security were to blame for a melee that began when Bieber canceled a CD signing and that Braun was simply doing what police asked him to do.

[click below for that story]

Justin Bieber Concert Canceled Due To Multiple Hospitilized Fans!

The defense is also hoping to have the arrest expunged from Braun's record and is working with the District Attorney's office to suspend the case and reopen the investigation.

Bieber's CD signing at Garden City's Roosevelt Field on November 20th, 2009 was nixed after thousands of teenage girls, a crowd that far exceeded initial expectations, descended on the mall with the hopes of seeing Bieber. Sensing a potential problem, police ordered Braun to send out a tweet through Bieber's Twitter account that alerted fans the signing had been canceled. However, things eventually became chaotic at the mall, resulting in injuries to five minors and police claimed Braun didn't tweet quickly enough. Braun pleaded not guilty to the charges after he was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and obstruction of governmental administration in March.

"Based upon the facts as we know them, the charges should really be withdrawn and the arrest expunged because the people in charge of security — Simon Malls [the company that owns Roosevelt Field], not Justin Bieber, not Scooter Braun — felt they had zero role in security,"

The mall seemed ill prepared for the Bieber fan invasion: While an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 fans were expected, the store hosting the event only had 1,200 albums in stock.

Bieber's manager, Braun's next scheduled hearing is July 16th, but he and his defense team will continue their discussions with the Nassau County District Attorney to have the charges withdrawn.
"This is the first Twitter arrest in history, so it brings up very beautiful and novel and important questions of the law,"
His lawyer said.
"The law is a beautiful thing, perhaps even more beautiful than music, so I expect this to have a happy ending."

Lil Wayne Caught w/ Marijuana On Tour Bus Again?

Lil' Wayne was rollin' through Texas with marijuana on multiple tour buses, this according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Border Patrol agents tell TMZ a random search of the vehicles (pictured above) uncovered a pot stash on two buses -- but we're told no drugs were found on Wayne's person ... or anyone else in the entourage.

Officials tell us a drug-sniffing K-9 unit picked up the scent outside the bus. Agents then walked the dogs onto the bus, where they located the weed.

As we first reported, Wayne and 11 members of his entourage are being detained at an internal B.P. checkpoint in southern Texas.

So far, no arrests have been made.

UPDATE 8:39 PM ET -- We're told Lil' Wayne's concert tonight at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, TX. has been postponed. The general manager of the venue tells us they decided to cancel the show because Lil' Wayne didn't show and they couldn't get in touch with him or his people.

Gucci Mane Sentenced To Serve 1 Year in Prison!

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced to a year in prison today (November 12) for violating the terms of his probation.

The rapper will begin serving his sentence immediately and could be released in as little as six months, according to MTV.com.

The news comes as Gucci Mane was promoting his album, ironically titled The State Vs. Radric Davis, on December 8.

The album features a Gucci along side a number of high profile artists, including Lil Wayne, Cam’ron, Soulja Boy, OJ Da Juiceman, Waka Flocka, Bun B., E-40, Trina, Nicki Minaj, Keyshia Cole, Plies, Rick Ross and numerous others.

Gucci Mane’s legal problems forced him to cancel a series of controversial college appearances at Florida A&M and North Carolina A&T last month.

Students on both campuses protested Gucci Mane’s appearance because of his controversial lyrics and alleged gang ties.

A murder charge against Gucci Mane was dropped in January 2006, after he shot a man during a botched robbery attempt in an Atlanta-area residence.

He also served time for assaulting a local nightclub promoter named Tyrone Tucker with a pool cue.

Katt Williams Released From Jail Telling His Side of The Story...Was It Racism??

Moments after being released from jail, Katt Williams is telling his side of the story.

According to Katt, he is maintaining that he did not burglarize the property and definitely did not steal the alleged jewelry.

Williams' lawyer William Briggs, also denied the allegations, insisting that his client had been staying for three weeks with "full permission" on the reported property which belongs to producer Barry Hankerson while filming a movie about Barack Obama. Briggs claimed Williams was involved in a dispute with one of Hankerson's employees, who made false story on the incident.

Katt Williams also alluded to possible racism as a motivation for his arrest. I included both parts of his interview released from his home!
