California's "Perfect Storm" Is Coming! 40 Days of Rain!!

Is California going under? Scientists say YES!

They have built a model showing a storm, now known as the "perfect storm," that could last for more than 40 days and dump 10 feet of water on the state!

This sounds REALLY serious:

“We think this event happens once every 100 or 200 years or so, which puts it in the same category as our big San Andreas earthquakes,”
Geological Survey scientist Lucy Jones (…..and it hasn’t happened since 1861…..)

Check out the official report from USGS here:

A group of more than 100 scientists and experts say in a new report that California faces the risk of a massive “superstorm” that could flood a quarter of the state’s homes and cause $300 billion to $400 billion in damage. Researchers point out that the potential scale of destruction in this storm scenario is four or five times the amount of damage that could be wrought by a major earthquake.

It sounds like the plot of an apocalyptic action movie, but scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey warned federal and state emergency officials that California’s geological history shows such “superstorms” have happened in the past, and should be added to the long list of natural disasters to worry about in the Golden State.

The threat of a cataclysmic California storm has been dormant for the past 150 years. Geological Survey director Marcia K. McNutt told the New York Times that a 300-mile stretch of the Central Valley was inundated from 1861-62. The floods were so bad that the state capital had to be moved to San Francisco, and Governor Leland Stanford (F#$K Stanfurd) had to take a rowboat to his own inauguration, the report notes. Even larger storms happened in past centuries, over the dates 212, 440, 603, 1029, 1418, and 1605, according to geological evidence.

The risk is gathering momentum now, scientists say, due to rising temperatures in the atmosphere, which has generally made weather patterns more volatile.

The scientists built a model that showed a storm could last for more than 40 days and dump 10 feet of water on the state. The storm would be goaded on by an “atmospheric river” that would move water “at the same rate as 50 Mississippis discharging water into the Gulf of Mexico,” according to the AP. Winds could reach 125 miles per hour, and landslides could compound the damage, the report notes.

Such a superstorm is hypothetical but not improbable, climate researchers warn.

“We think this event happens once every 100 or 200 years or so, which puts it in the same category as our big San Andreas earthquakes,”
Geological Survey scientist Lucy Jones said in a press release.

Federal and state emergency management officials convened a conference about emergency preparations for possible superstorms last week. You can read the whole report here.

Gucci Mane Gets Ice Cream Cone On His Face! His Tattoo Artist Speaks. Check Out More Of The Craziest Tattoos In Hip-Hop

Rapper Gucci Mane celebrated his release from an Atlanta psychiatric hospital recently by ordering a triple-scoop ice cream cone... on his face!

Gucci Mane's latest tattoo — an ice cream cone with three scoops and the word "brrr" across the right side of his face — has appeared all over the internet today. So what does the ice cream cone mean? According to Gucci's spokesperson Kali Bowyer, the image is "a reminder to fans of how he chooses to live his life. Cool as ice. As in 'I'm so icy, I'll make ya say Brr.'"

Bwhahaha!

According to his tattoo artists who did that ice cream tattoo, Gucci was completely sober and just wanted to look like a “rock star.”

He tells VIBE,

“I was [hesitant] like ‘Are you sure you want to put that much [ink] in that area? He came straight to the counter and that's where he pointed. I won't tattoo anybody if their [drunk] or high because I can't stand the smell of weed… [Gucci] seemed completely sober. He knew what he was doing. When [Gucci] said he wanted to do the ice cream thing I said ‘Well why don't we do it somewhere else?' But he was like I don't have anywhere else. He said ‘I want something rock ‘n roll.' There's nothing more rock ‘n roll then lightening bolts.. I don't think I'll ever do [that] again… no matter how successful [the celebrity]. He was stoked. Had no regrets… was jumping up and down. That's the way he rolls.”

Ok So Now Our Zodiac Signs Have Changed? Meet Ophiuchus.

As if enough weird things have been happening since the clock stuck midnight January 1st, now they are trying to tell us our Zodiac signs have changed! (That's IF you even believe in that stuff)

Astronomer Parke Kunkle reports that changes in the alignment of the Earth have made the science behind our astrological signs change, as well as have an addition of a 13th sign, Ophiuchus (how do you even pronounce that?). This change has apparently been coming throughout the years, as the 12 original signs were set almost 3,000 years ago. But the change over the years in the position of the earth in relation to the sun have created a need to revamp the astrological signs.

So, what does this new change mean for all those people worldwide who turn to their astrological horoscope for guidance? Have they been misled all these years by following the wrong sign? Well, apparently for a lot of us, we have. Here is the new breakdown of astrological signs. Take a look and see where you fall now:

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16

Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11

Pisces: March 11-April 18

Aries: April 18-May 13

Taurus: May 13-June 21

Gemini: June 21-July 20

Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10

Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16

Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30

Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23

Scorpio: Nov. 23-Nov. 29

Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17

Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20

WTH??????? So I'm not a Leo anymore? LOL. I'm not paying any mind to my "sign" change.

Now, what about this new sign, Ophiuchus? What does it mean? What are its traits?

In Greek mythology, Ophiuchus was Aesclepius, Master Architect, Healer, and God of Wisdom. He has always been a part of the zodiac belt, but until now was never included in the Western astrological breakdown. As the story goes, Aesclepius was a Greek God of medicine and, when trying to bring Orion the Hunter back to life, was taken down by Zeus and cast to the sky with the Greek name Ophiuchus.

Student Charged w/ Sexual Battery For "Wrestling Move" - Is Justice Served??

A California student athlete has been expelled and charged with sexual battery after performing a controversial move during a wrestling match.

According to published reports, High school wrestler Preston Hill has been expelled indefinitely after he used a legal move in the sport called the “butt drag” in which a wrestler grabs his opponent's butt cheeks and places his finger in the opponent's anus for leverage.

The teen's father said coaches taught his son the "butt drag" when he was in middle school and that it was a common move, but the Clovis police department state that the teen went too far when he inserted his fingers deeply into his freshman teammate at a July practice session.

According to the unidentified freshman's father, Hill targeted his son because the 14-year-old stood up to him for bullying. The freshman father also states that Hill's friends are now in school bullying the freshman student for speaking up about the encounter in July.

Although bizarre, Hill is not the first wrestler charged for the move. In 2007, a wrestler from South Dakota was found guilty and sentenced to probation after being charged with rape for performing the same move on at least six other wrestlers.

Hill, who denies the bullying allegations, was captain of the wrestling team prior to incident.

What do you think? Did the student go too far?
