Singer Mario Arrested (Photo)

R&B singer, Mario  was arrested this morning (Oct 1) for allegedly assaulting his mother, Shawntia Hardaway that he lives with in Baltimore. Sources say Mario's mom who has struggled with a heroin addiction for years -- told police her son had been "throwing and damaging property" and pushed her.





Police say that she claims this isn't the first time Mario has attacked her either.  A few days ago, Mario shoved her "eight feet into a living room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall."





Mario was arrested for 2nd degree assault and the was released on $50,000 bond.
