Plies Gives $1000 To Little Girl At His Concert To Make Her Leave!

Word is, as Plies was preparing to perform his song “Bust It Baby” the rapper’s moral standards kicked in and instead of telling the young girl in the audience along with her parents to leave because he felt his lyrics were inappropriate, the rapper instead gave the girl $1,000 and then asked that her parents take her somewhere else more appropriate.

This isn’t the first time Plies has shown that he has a kind heart for the youngsters especially the girls — at a past basketball game, the rapper gave one of his chains to a young girl crying

Beanie Sigel Disses Jay-Z Again! Listen ToThe Song + Hear Why He Made It!

Early this morning (Oct. 30th) the internet went nuts! This is the second time this week we heard him dissing Jay-Z (Click here to listen to the previous diss)

MTV Reports: Hip-hop fans' heartbreak, one of the greatest dynasties in rap history, Roc-A-Fella, is having its dirty laundry thrown onto the street by the Broad Street Bully. Beanie Sigel is giving the world a very sobering take on his split from Jay-Z in a song called "What You Talkin Bout (I Ain't Your Average Cat)."

"I'm a grown-ass man, I don't sit on n---as' laps/ I ain't looking for no gifts out of Santa Claus' sack," he raps. Sig dropped those same lines during the Powerhouse Concert last Friday in Philadelphia when he came out as Jadakiss' guest. The words were obviously a response to Jay's lines on "What We Talkin' About" off of The Blueprint 3.

(Listen to the Beanie Diss to Jay-Z above)

Still, fans were confused about Beans' intentions. Sigel was quiet until Thursday night, when his new song dropped.

"How it feel to get exposed?" Sigs rhymes. "Don't you feel naked?/ I was a fly on the wall, sh-- I witnessed/ I can say sh-- that will make B look at you different."

Beanie goes on to say that Jay-Z called the police to get him out of the recent Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.

" 'F' you two and 'F' Bleek three," Beans says. The song ends with the once-loyal Roc-A-Fella sergeant-at-arms saying that he brought the "fellas to Roc-A-Fella." He gave the label street cred. He fought all the battles: Nas, Jadakiss and the Diplomats.

Friday morning (October 30), Sigel called up Philadelphia radio station 100.3 and spoke with Charlamagne Tha God about how hard he used to ride for Jay and how Hov disappointed him.

"I backed all his plays without even asking him. Jadakiss is not no walk in no park. Nas is not no walk in no park. These are dudes that could have ended my career," he said, referring to former Roc-A-Fella rhyme wars that have long since been buried.

"I'm not really dissing Jay," Sigel explained. "It's certain parts in there where my emotions. ... It's an emotional record for me. When I listened to The Blueprint 3, I heard a lot of shots directed towards people.

"I feel he gave out a lot of pairs of shoes on that album," Beanie added. "I felt my feet was meant for a couple of them."

Beanie specifically mentioned the line "I heated up the Roc already, why can't y'all get hot already?" from "Already Home."

"I understand Jay, you at a certain place in your career where everyone can't go," Sigel said. "You don't need Beanie Sigel in the building with a pre-perception that 'this crazy dude might do anything.' ... We taint his image, State Property and the place that he's at."

"I love the way 50 [Cent] did with his dawgs," he said. "If you look at it, them dudes got more money and more bread than anybody in State Property 'cause 50 made sure of that. 50 went on tour and paid them, not [telling] them 'it was a good look for them to be on the tour' and things like that. True story, I'm sitting on house arrest and the Young Gunz call my phone 'cause Jay-Z is only paying them $1200 a show and they had to split it."

Beans' last official Roc-A-Fella release, The Solution, came out in December 2007.

Just let me dance
Let me get it like I’m wanting

Stop calling

Stop calling

I don’t need to hear it
Stop calling

I don’t wanna talk anymore
Can somebody please

Hang up please
Hang up boy

Hang up please
Hang up boy
I cannot text you with a drink in my hand

I don’t want you to bother me anymore
All I’m tryna do is get down on the floor
I look like a damn fool with this phone in my hand (let me dance)
Beyoncé and me gon get crunk I hope you understand

(Beyoncé)
Why you tryna boss me around like you my master
Should have left my phone at home cause this is a disaster
Just trying to have some fun and dance the night away
You think keeping me on the phone is gonna make me stay
I’m a-a diva
Just let me do what divas do
Don’t worry baby tomorrow I’ll still be your boo

I’m gonna drink the night away
I’m gonna shake what my momma gave me
Don’t try to stop me
You cannot stop me
You get me all stressed
I’m trying to take all that away
Didn’t I tell you I love you
So why are you so insecure
I thought you were so perfect for me
But this is starting to seem like a bad romance

This Is It...Ain't It. Before you say that's cold. Let me explain. I’m gonna say it from the start, this movie is ok. Don’t get it twisted, I didn’t hate it and it’s not a bad movie, but you have to keep in mind several factors.

This footage was never meant to be released as a film. It's NOT a documentary and doesn't have a story. This is a bunch of filmed rehearsals. It was meant to be compiled into one of those promotional films that plays while Michael changes costumes and the crew changes the sets and stuff. All of this footage probably was supposed to be in a 10-15 minute film not a 2 hour one.

Having said that, you do get glimpses (only glimpses) into what a creative person and perfectionist he was. You also get glimpses into what a FANTASTIC tour this would have been. You get to see some of the set designs and set-ups for his most popular songs. Also let me say that 95% of this film is Michael. I was expecting a lot of filler interviews and such, but there wasn’t. It’s all Michael and kudos to the filmmakers for that.

Latoya Jackson stated that she felt that Michael wouldn't have wanted the film to have been released because he wasn't giving his all into his performances.

"Michael [Jackson] always wants to give his best. This is a rehearsal. He wasn’t giving his all [...] He loves to give his all always. That’s just the way he is. He wants people to see him at the top of the ladder and not half-stepping because he doesn’t want to do a full-out rehearsal."*

That seems true in this film, these are rehearsals and Michael didn’t want to go “full blast” with his singing and dancing, but the film happens to catch moments when he just couldn’t help it and sang and danced his heart out. His voice was just as perfect as ever and his dancing was equally on point.

The end result of this film is that you see that Michael wasn’t in this just to make a buck, he wasn’t going to “phone it in”. Michael was committed to bringing an ultimate concert experience and nothing less. A true testament to his vision, his talent, his genius.

*Latoya Jackson quote source: Access Hollywood

Cool Black's Mad Commentary: After his death there were reports that Michael was not physically fit enough to do this tour. While he was quite thin, he was moving, grooving and singing just as well as he ever has. As a filmmaker I know that any footage that cast Michael in a negative light (as far as his health) would never make it into this film, but from what I saw he was ready as ever.

BOX OFFICE UPDATE

Big Sunday shows 'This Is It' isn't performing like a concert film
Los Angeles Times
November 2, 2009 1:13 pm

"This Is It" continues to throw all the old rules about concert movies out the window.

Domestic ticket sales for the Michael Jackson (pictured left) movie totaled $8.3 million on Sunday, nearly $2 million more than the $6.3 million Sony Pictures projected Sunday morning and 17% more than the movie grossed on Saturday. The movie's total domestic gross is now $34.4 million, making the worldwide number $103 million.

Concert movies traditionally see ticket sales decline rapidly after they premiere, as avid fans who turn out on opening day make up most of the audience. But "This Is It" grossed more on Sunday than any day since it debuted, a sign that word-of-mouth is strong and moviegoers who initially may have been hesitant are turning out. There also may be repeat viewing, which is often the case for concert films.

If the trend continues, "This Is It" should enjoy a relatively modest decline next weekend, and what initially looked like a middling domestic performance may actually turn into a pretty good one, albeit not nearly as big as overseas. That's where Jackson is really cleaning up.

BET Hip Hop Award Winners & Recap [w/ VIDEOS]

Jay-Z won the BET Hip-Hop Awards' MVP of the Year trophy, beating Lil Wayne, Drake, T.I. and Kanye West. Hov also opened the show with a performance of "As Real as It Gets" with Young Jeezy. Taped earlier this month in Atlanta and aired Tuesday night (October 27), the ceremony showcased the hip-hop nation, from the New Boyz to OGs like Jigga.

And while Jay faced stiff competition, Ice Cube didn't have to go up against anybody to win. He was honored with the prestigious lifetime-achievement "I Am Hip-Hop" award.

Jeezy co-presented the award alongside Ice Cube's favorite rapper.

"Without Chuck D, we'd be on a real bad collision course," Cube proclaimed during his acceptance speech. He also stated that old time rappers should not give up on the game and keep pursuing their careers.

Other performers on the show included the Goodie Mob, Snoop Dogg and Gucci Mane, who got a chance to perform all his big hits of the last few months, including "Break Up" and "Wasted." Even the legendary Kid 'N Play snuck in a dance step. Some of the most talked-about performances of the night were the ones that didn't happen in-house. Several rap cyphers were taped, resulting in standout verses from KRS-One, Eminem, Nicki Minaj and Joe Budden.

(Cypher: KRS, Wale + More)

Em's verse was a fence-clearing homerun as he brought his distinctive cadence and semi-automatic handgun flow.

(Cypher: Eminem, Mos Def + More)

"Wow! I need to hear the unedited version!" DJ Drama, who DJed the awards show, said of Em's bars. "The crowd in the house went crazy! They were so excited to even see Eminem in a cypher. He's one of the greatest spitters of all time."

Some other winners announced during the show were Drake for Rookie of the Year and DJ AM for DJ of the Year.

Jay-Z Reveals His "DJ HERO" Habits: Check Out Snap Shots From The Game!

“My nephews ain’t beat me their whole entire life — until now,” said Jay-Z, clad in his trademark Yankee cap and shades yesterday, demonstrating for a small press roundtable that he could be just as competitive with gaming as he is with MCing. “I would never let them win because that meant they controlled the household, so I would just beat them mercilessly. Suck it up, kid!”

The rapper and longtime gamer is throwing his name behind the deluxe “Renegade Edition” of DJ Hero, the long-awaited DJ simulation rhythm game coming in the wake of the ultra-successful Guitar Hero franchise. Beyond the Jay-Z co-sign and some consulting work, the Renegade Edition comes with a 2-CD set featuring a smattering of his greatest hits on one disc and some of Eminem’s on the other (as well as a stand and carrying case). Jay-Z seemed appropriately amped about the in-game blend of Em’s “My Name Is” and his own “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” which he described as clever and his favorite in the soundtrack. When asked about his favorite song that wasn’t his own, he joked, “Does such a song exist?”

Like many of the musicians who appeared on Guitar Hero, Jay-Z sees DJ Hero as a great gateway for kids to begin performing music for real. In fact, Jay-Z seems to be already taking some musical inspiration from the game himself. “I think after a year with DJ Hero, I’m gonna start DJing parties like Q-Tip and all them,” he said. “I’m gonna work on this for a year, then I’m gonna get me a new Serrato set… Then I’m gonna find out who makes the most as a DJ. I’m gonna charge double. I’m gonna tour bar mitzvahs, weddings…”

LOL DJ Jay-Z! ...Check out some snap shots from the game:

DJ JAZZY JEFF

DJ AM

DJ GRANDMASTER FLASH

To get lots of practice, Jay-Z promises to have DJ Hero set up in his dressing room at every stop of his upcoming tour with N.E.R.D., Wale and J. Cole. He promises the tour will be a culmination of everything he’s learned over the years as a performer. “I’m the shit,” he said. “I used to be a horrible performer because I’m not really an animated guy. I don’t really move around, so I had to figure out a way how to talk to people in compact movements, all the while being entertaining. Bono doesn’t move around but he’s a powerful performer, he knows how to exaggerate his movements. I don’t know if he moves anywhere, but he’s a dynamic performer.”

As a bonus, Jay shared some of his favorite games from when he was a kid. Here’s his rundown:

“Maybe Space Invaders or Kaboom or Ms. Pac-Man or Stargate. Asteroids too, you hit the little rocks, that was cool. I remember maybe Kaboom was one of the ones I would play endlessly on Atari. The home system. In the arcade it was Stargate, that was the first game I really… Not Defender. Defender was all right, but Stargate when you had to go through that little box? You pick the people up and take ’em in the box? That was special.”

Lil Wayne To Be Sentenced in Jail For 1 Yr! Rappers Speak Out..but Why Such a Severe Sentence?

Lil Wayne couldn't have picked a tougher state to face a gun charge than New York.

The rapper entered a guilty plea in a Manhattan court on Thursday (October 22) as part of a deal that will see him be formally sentenced to one year in prison (although it seems likely he'll serve eight to 10 months). Wayne pleaded guilty to a class "D" violent felony of attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree; the charges stem from a July 2007 arrest.

Prosecutors say police pulled over Lil Wayne's tour bus on July 22, 2007 after allegedly smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle, and officers then said they found Wayne to be in possession of a weapon.

MTV News spoke with other Hip Hop artists in the hours after the news broke were extremely saddened by the development.

"Lil Wayne is a great friend of mine," said DJ Khaled, who had just heard the news. "He's a brother and he's helped so many people. He's helped so many people, the public, [his] city. Musically, he's helped other artists. He's just a great person on the whole.

"He's gonna be good no matter [what], 'cause Lil Wayne's so blessed, but the news has got me disturbed. When you do so much good for the world, make music to inspire young kids and give back to the community, to put a man away like that for eight months to a year ..." Khaled trailed off before continuing. "Lil Wayne is great person. It's just wack that people have to go through these trials and tribulations."

"It hurt us," Rick Ross said. The Bawse had just gotten off a plane to Los Angeles on Thursday morning when he heard about Wayne's plea. "We strategize and work towards this for so long, [and] when something like that, a major inconvenience such as that, nine people out of 10, that stint could hurt them. But I think Wayne has a unique situation with his Cash Money family and now his Young Money roster, I know they got a lot of things poppin'. Wayne's got enough music. He's one of the few artists I feel could eat those 10 months up, or that year, and then come home to rap royalty. If anybody is gonna be able to do it, it's gonna be Wayne."

While Ross was optimistic, Juelz Santana was irate.

"I'm pissed off," Santana said on Thursday morning. Coincidentally, he was in Wayne's hometown of New Orleans filming his first movie, "Video Girl," with Meagan Good. "They totally violated my man. I been trying to call my man all morning. I'm offended! I'm offended, for one, that it happened in New York City. That was some bullsh--. I don't know the situation as far as what happened on the bus, but at the end of the day, Weezy shouldn't be going to jail for nothing right now."

Santana said he feels that Wayne was unfairly targeted by police, like many of his peers.

"Even as rappers, we out here on defense," he added. "We ain't out here hurting nobody. We go to shows picking up 50, 60, probably hundreds of thousands of dollars. Cash money! At the end of the day, you on the bus with however many people was there, how do the officers assume that it's Lil Wayne's gun?"

DJ Drama, who made the classic Dedication series of mixtapes with Wayne, also feels that rappers like Weezy are targeted unfairly.

"I was shocked," Drama said of the news about his collaborator. "It was ironic because when I got the e-mail, I was taking a break from shooting a CNN special [about] black men in America since President Obama's [election]. Then here we are halfway through [shooting] that, and I get a e-mail about Lil Wayne possibly facing jail time. One of the world's most popular music stars? It's crazy. Not to take anything from the actual charge or the conflicts of guns, [but] we all can bear witness to the racist tactics of the hip-hop police, specifically in New York. I remember numerous occasions, doing my promo [during] my album's run. They were outside the venues just clearly looking for situations. I can imagine on that night or any given night with the most heralded stars — the 50 Cents, the Lil Waynes — the aggressive nature, they came down on those guys. The system is not even fair to that extent.

"People can say 'Don't do the crime, do the time' or 'Don't carry weapons,' yadda, yadda, yadda," he continued. "These cops are coming so strategically at these artists to make these headlines, to make these statements ... it's plain and simple wrong. So much time and effort is put into putting our music stars behind bars, they still ain't find out who killed Tupac and Biggie."

Shyne Will Be Deported!

So everyone's talking about Shyne getting ready to be deported! We were not sure what was going to happen but it looks like this is true.

Shyne expects to be shipped to Belize, where he will likely continue his fight to stay in the United States. A New Yorker since 13-years-old, he was raised by his mother and grand mother in Brooklyn. They still live in the United States.

Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree is working on Shyne's behalf with his legal team and they seek a pardon through New York Governor David Patterson. Paterson's first gubernatorial pardon was for Ricky "Slick Rick" Walters, a rapper convicted in 1991 on attempted murder.

Shyne was incarcerated for almost 10 years for assault and weapons charges.

Moses Leviy is Shyne's new legal name, changing it in homage of his Jewish grandmother.

"Russian Roulette= Suicidal Rate gon sky rocket! You gotta watch what u say. Because there are a lot of weak people in the world. They are susceptible to anything so anything you say or do some people actually do listen. So make sure its nothing bad. Its okay to be deep, but not murder deep. Man! I really wish I could tell you guys what the industry really is and what stars are apart of destroying this world. The stars who worship satan, and those who have killed to get the respect they have now. You’d be verrrry surprise. Some of your favorite people pretend to worship God but they only do that to save face. Or seem innocent. Satan was head of music in heaven. He uses influential people…to help influence the world. Think about that. Once u make a certain amount of money. Just know that that’s when they ask u to join. To get in you have accept the beast, worship. Once you join they assist u with ur career.make u huge.only if u agree and obey to destroy Gods word.and his children. Ppl listen and pay attention. Its a war going on right now between Good and Evil. Evil will rule this world for a min. The people that have this power are the people that RULE the whole world. I’m done I won’t say anymore before I get in trouble."

WOW

I mean, I don't know what to say...or believe. This is definitely not the first time I hear of this.
