Really? ...Another T.V. show 50 Cent? Wasn't the last one bad enough?

50 Cent has a new reality show on VH1 entitled the "Origins of Me." VH1 representatives say it will show a very different side of the best-selling rap artist.

Cameras will follow as 50 Cent finds new Curtis Jackson history. He will visit the places his family genealogy could be traced back to a few generations earlier. Visiting Edgefield County, South Carolina Fiddy will meet descendents of his family's slave owners and see where his family settled in the 1950s

Sounds pretty cool...

The 50 Cent "Origins of Me" TV special will air May 23 and 9 P.M. eastern time.

Jersey Shore's Dj Pauly D Is G-Unit Now?

Word is 50 Cent is looking to sign Dj Pauly D to his record label, with a 3 album deal already on the table! Sources say Pauly D met with 50 last week to negotiate options. The talk was allegedly about merchandise and also Pauly D brand headphones...


Nothing is confirmed yet, but sources say 50 is trying to lock it in before Pauly and the Jersey Shore cast heads out to Italy for Season 4!

Some of your favorite celebs have been tweeting away this week...well, MOST of 'em!

But these two guys, 50 Cent and Ja' Rule seemed to really stir things up.

Here's the scoop, you can add Ja' Rule to the long list of celebs that have been in trouble with the law for tax evasion. This week he plead guilty to 3 Million dollars in tax evasion and he also has 2 years under his belt for weapons charges, the same charge Lil' Wayne did one year for.

So it's been a tough week for Ja...and 50 Cent sure aint making it better. 50 got on twitter and started picking on Ja'Rule, which erupted a Twitter Beef!

50 Cent kicked it off by retweeting (sending out a message from someone else for all of us to see)

"LOL RT@YouCantBSerious: Ja Rule pleads guilty to tax evasion aww this is the biggest headline for Ja since @50Cent destroyed his career ...

The 50 continued...

Damn you don't want to pay taxes fool. Take 3 more years hahaha. Oh s--- I'm crying LMAO ... Tell him (Ja Rule) I said don't worry I got him when he come home. Lol ... Yo word to my mother if anybody knock jah out and f--- him in jail it's gonna be on."

Ja'Rule responded with,

"I wouldn't expect anything different from a ho a-- n---- like @50Cent. In 2007 Elise confirmed her and 50 Cent's romance. She said 50 asked her to play his love interest in his Follow My Lead video, and the two became low-key lovers in real life.

And although the couple is now "just cool", actress Neal insists 50 will always hold a very special place in her heart.

She says,

"Right now we're really just cool, but it would be the understatement of the year for me to say it was always just that. We're friends enough to where he knows that if we're doing something I'm not gonna go run and tell Us Weekly. That's not my personality."

Sounds like her and 50 Cent were pretty serious....how in the world did she end up with his archenemy?

50 Cent makes $8.7 over Twitter Last Weekend

Report: 50 Cent Hauls In $8.7 Million Via Twitter Over the Weekend

50 Cent made a lot sense, financially, on Twitter over the weekend. According to the New York Post, the rapper saw the value of his 30 million shares in a penny-stock company increase by $8.7 million after sending out a series of tweets urging his 3.8 million followers to invest, which sent the price of the stock skyrocketing (relatively speaking).

The penny-stock company also owns TV Goods, a small marketing company ran by former 'Shark Tank' star Kevin Harrington. The Post even goes as far to call H&H a "money-losing venture," but once 50 Cent started telling his Twitter followers to invest, the company's stock rose from 10 cents to 39 cents.

The stock opened at 41 cents on Tuesday, reports The Huffington Post.

50 Cent "received 30 million shares of H&H in a private placement last October, including a series of warrants granting him the opportunity to cash in as the stock rises: at 15 cents, 25 cents or -- no kidding -- 50 cents," according to the New York Post.

One of the catches is that the company is selling the star's trademarked sunglasses, Sleek by 50, ensuring 50 Cent equity in the company. He also used the marketing of his sunglasses to sell the stock to his followers, according to StreetInsider.com.

"HNHI is the stock symbol for TVG, Sleek by 50 is one of the 15 products this year. If you get in technically I work for you. BIG MONEY," 50 Cent tweeted, according to screen shots on mediabistro, but later removed from his page.

Along with this and a flurry of other promotional tweets, 50 finally decided to back off toward the end of the weekend.

"Ok ok ok my friends just told me stop tweeting about HNHI so we can get all the money. Hahaha check it out its the real deal," 50 Cent reportedly tweeted.

Despite all of 50 Cent's recent success, the Post suggests H&H's long-term future doesn't look like a healthy investment since it currently sits at $3.3 million in debt and lost $1.3 million in the last quarter.

Cool Black's Mad Commentary: Say what you will about 50, but he seems to be an astute businessman. Concurrently, I refused thus far to jump on the Twitter bandwagon...maybe it's time to rethink that decision. @CoolBlackTrying2MakeThatDough?

Ja Rule himself called the events on Monday (December 13) — where he was sentenced to two years in jail — a "minor setback to a major comeback" via Twitter. Let's hope so.

In 2009, MTV News spoke to the Murder Inc MC during a rally, somewhat ironically now, against gun violence where he joined forces with T.I., Reverend Al Sharpton and his National Action Network following the tragic fatal shooting of 17-year-old Corey Squire.

"I think it's important for a voice like myself or a T.I. who actually have gun issues to be the ones to speak out guns and putting the guns down and gang violence,"

Ja Rule said.

"I think we're the perfect voices to be talking about this, not to say that other voices aren't. Kids relate a little more when they know you've already been done that road and you know what they're going through and you can relate to them."

Ja Rule pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree and was sentenced to two years in jail. The charges stem from a gun bust in July 2007, when both Ja and Lil Wayne were arrested separately following a concert performance. Similarly, T.I. reported to a federal prison in Arkansas on November 1 for violating his parole, stemming from gun charges for which he'd already served one year away.

"We've been through a lot and me and Tip, and I think he can attest to this, you grow a lot,"

Ja Rule said sincerely.

"As you start to grow up, you start to learn what life is really about, the damages you could be doing yourself and your community by speaking. I think sometimes we don't remember how strong our voices are.

"A young man asked me, 'Do I think hip-hop can help these communities? Do I think hip-hop can help get these kids to put the guns down?' "

Ja Rule continued.

"I answered him in a way that I felt really comfortable saying it, because I do feel that hip-hop has been part of the problem so now it's time for us to be part of the solution."

To that end, the MC began a philanthropic organization to give back to his own community almost a decade ago.

"L.I.F.E. Camp is started out in South Jamaica, Queens, where I'm from, and we're basically a forum for kids to come to when they don't got nowhere else to go,"

Ja Rule explained.

"Maybe their parents are on drugs or they dropped out of school, we take them in my life camp and try to give them a better life, a head start."

The special just aired last night, Friday October 15th on BET. Let's kill the suspense. Coming in at #1 on the list is hip hop icon, Eminem, who has sold more records than anyone on the list. Second is Lil' Wayne, currently incarcerated. In the third spot, Kanye West, the producer and rapper extraordinaire. Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent takes the fourth spot due to three platinum albums in the past decade and consistent hit making. Rounding out the Top 5 is rapper T.I.

50 Cent Has The Gay Community In An Up Roar Over Twitter Comments!

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is mounting a campaign against 50 Cent after the rapper tweeted threatening comments to blogger Perez Hilton last week, including a violent photo of two men in suits running from a mob.

"Perez Hilton calld me douchebag so I had my homie shoot up a gay wedding. wasnt his but still made me feel better,"

50 also Tweeted Perez:

"stop being so sensitive its a joke. Your acting like a big baby...my next song will make your sweet ass dance lol chill out."

Now GLAAD is speaking out...

"It's wrong to make jokes and promote violence against the gay community,"

said GLAAD spokesman Rich Ferraro.

"Taking down the post is not enough. We wanted him to tell his Twitter followers that what he did was wrong."

Even after all of the outrage, 50 Cent continues to get on Twitter posting offensive comments and photos against gays.

A rep for 50 Cent had no comment. But it wasn't the first time 50's run afoul of the gay community. He told Playboy in a 2004 interview,

"I ain't into faggots. I don't like gay people around me, because I'm not comfortable with what their thoughts are . . . I'd rather hang out with a straight dude. But women who like women, that's cool."

His recent Twitter posts have also taken aim at unborn children and pregnant women:

"I wanna do something that impact kids in a positive way, thats why im opening an abortion clinic. Ima call it 50/50 chance,"

one of them read.

Check out what 50 Cent recently told MTV about his sudden Twitter addiction...

"You know what's interesting? I look at that platform as another place to express yourself in a different way, to entertain. Not necessarily to create a perception of your actual character, but to be entertaining. When other people used it, it was boring because they were trying to be safe, be politically correct."

....so in response, why not put the gayest picture we could find of 50 Cent.

In total, 50 Cent lost more than 50 pounds over only nine weeks, falling from a muscular 214 to a skeleton 160 pounds considering his 6 foot height. He lost the weight for a movie role in Things Fall Apart, in which he plays a football player diagnosed with cancer.

50 said this about the above photo:

“Yeah, they’re absolutely real,”

He lost the weight by going on a 9-week liquid diet and working out on a treadmill for three hours a day.
The weight loss was no easy task, and he recognizes the health risks:

“After the second week, it was crazy. They say it takes 30 days to make a habit, but man… I was on the Internet and I was looking at Christian Bale, while The Machinist was out, he almost killed himself. I was feeling like maybe I’m overdoing it and I’m dropping 54 pounds, but I was in such a good physical state prior to me deciding to go down on the weight.”

Despite how unhealthy he looks, at least his motivations are close to his heart:

"My motivation for the project was my best friend, Charles Pringle. He lived across the street from me; he actually died of cancer. It’s a serious topic. One out of eight people in the world die of cancer. It tops HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria together. If you’re not actually gonna die of cancer, chances are someone you’re active with in your life is."

The cast of Things Fall Apart also includes Lynn Whitfield, Mario Van Peebles, and Ray Liotta. 50 Cent is also a co-producer on the film, along with Randall Emmett, his partner in Cheetah Vision Films. For 50 Cent and the sake of his health, let’s hope Things Fall Apart is actually worth watching.

50 Cent Entourage Member Ordered to Pay Over $30,000 For Choking A Woman.

A woman who says she was beaten at 50 Cent's Connecticut mansion has been awarded more than $30,000 in her lawsuit against a member of 50's entourage.


A Waterbury Superior Court judge ruled Thursday in favor of 24-year-old Shana Chin, who sued 28-year-old Dwayne McKenzie on allegations he assaulted and choked her in his bedroom at 50 Cent's Farmington mansion after a Memorial Day party in 2008.

Judge Joseph Pellegrino said there was enough evidence to support Chin's claims for her injuries.

Chin had sought $100,000. She said she had been dating McKenzie, who lived at the mansion once owned by boxer Mike Tyson.

McKenzie said he didn't know how Chin was injured. He was arrested shortly after the incident and allowed into a violence education program.

Nicole Richie's wedding to Joel Madden is going to be a huge star studded event and dad, Lionel Richie, isn't holding back for his little girl. A source says,

Nicole has two children with Good Charlotte rocker boyfriend Joel and Lionel has nothing but good wishes for all of them.

He recently said,

Someone released the trailer for the movie "Twelve" which is starring 50 Cent. The movie company says they did not release this...but sure does look like the movie lol.

The film is based on the 2002 Nick McDonell novel by the same name. 50 is typecast as a Harlem drug-dealer named Lionel.



Ellen Barkin, Kiefer Sutherland, Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts and Rory Culkin will also star in the movie.
