Most people say they were born gay....and this presidential candidate says she can convert you back!................What?!

Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann and her husband allegedly own a Christian counseling center engaging in a discredited therapy designed to convert gays to straights through prayer and self-reflection. Leading mental health experts today are strongly condemning this!

"This is so far outside the mainstream it's practically on Mars,"

said Dr. Jack Drescher, a psychiatrist who has written extensively on the practice of gay conversions.

Marcus Bachmann had denied the family's suburban Minneapolis treatment centers employed so-called reparative therapy in a newspaper interview five years ago, but ABC News reported Monday on the experience of a former patient, and on an undercover operation mounted by gay rights advocates. Both provided evidence that practice is occurring there.

The

"path for my therapy would be to read the Bible, pray to God that I would no longer be gay,"

said Andrew Ramirez, who was 17 years old at the time he sought help from Bachmann & Associates in suburban Minneapolis.

"And God would forgive me if I were straight."

Also this week Obama declared June as LGBT month...some of you may be saying huh? Well back in 2008 Clinton proclaimed June as Gay and Lesbian Pride month.....

And ever since, Obama has been reenforcing it as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month each year.

The gay community does not, however, have the month to themselves. Obama also proclaimed June “National Caribbean-American Heritage Month,”
“African-American Music Appreciation Month” and “Great Outdoors Month.”

Comedian Tracy Morgan Says "I'll Stab My Son If He Acts Gay" --- Gay Rights Groups Furious!

Would you care if your child was or is gay? Comedian Tracy Morgan has everyone, including gay activists, raising their eyebrows after he said he would stab his kid!

"30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan is under some very serious fire -- after reportedly spewing some disgusting homophobic "jokes" during a performance in Nashville last week.

According to reports, Morgan took the stage at the Ryman Auditorium (pictured above) and went off about gays -- saying,

"Gays need to quit being p**sies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying."

He added,

"Gay is something that kids learn from the media and programming."

When talking about the possibility of his son being gay -- Tracy said he

"better talk to me like a man and not in a gay voice or I'll pull out a knife and stab that little n**ger to death."

Afterward, Tracy told the crowd,

"I don't "f*cking care if I piss off some gays, because if they can take a f*cking d**k up their ass ... they can take a f*cking joke."

After the performance, the Ryman Auditorium issued a statement on the performance saying,

"The Ryman Auditorium regrets that people were offended by statements made by Tracy Morgan during his June 3 appearance....The Ryman does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons."

It's not the first time Morgan has ignited controversy over homphobic material -- back in 2009, a bunch of people reportedly walked out of his show at Carnegie Hall after he said being gay was a "choice."

After Gay Rights groups released statements "demanding" an apology from Morgan, he quickly issued an apology saying he "went too far" and his act was "not funny in any context."

"I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville."

He adds,

"I'm not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others."

"While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context. "

Hate Crime? Transgender Woman Beaten To Seizure In McDonald's (VIDEO)

The victim brutally beaten to the point of having a seizure in McDonald's as staff passively watched on is believed to be a transgender woman, it has been revealed.

Shocking footage captured the horrifying assault as McDonald's staff in Rosedale, Baltimore, stood by. The assault, which happened on April 18, was so severe the 22-year-old victim had a seizure in the restaurant.

The attack was believed to have been sparked after an argument over using a bathroom in the restaurant.

Mitchell McPherson, who owns the McDonald's franchise where the attack took place, told MailOnline:

'I’m as shocked and disturbed by this incident as anyone would be. The behavior displayed in the video is unfathomable and reprehensible.
'The safety of our customers is a top priority. We know the police were called immediately, and we are thoroughly investigating this matter.'

The McDonald's Twitter account wrote,

First and foremost, our thoughts are with the victim during this time.

Action has been taken, and the crew member who made the video is no longer employed by this organization.

Appropriate action regarding other employees will take place as warranted.

Now we all know these two have had their differences in regards to the gay rights but now two are said to be friends and Eminem got his friend a pretty interesting freaky gift for his wedding gift,

Newspaper Prints Cover Story Featuring - TOP 100 Homosexuals photos, addresses & more!

An African newspaper called the "Rolling Stone" printed out a cover story featuring the TOP 100 Homosexuals in the country. They featured names, addresses and even encouraged violence saying, "Hang Them." The newspaper has been ordered to shut down but not for ethical reasons...homosexuality is ILLEGAL in their country. This is just OUTRAGEOUS!

(CNN) -- A Ugandan newspaper published a story featuring a list of the nation's "top" gays and lesbians with their photos and addresses, angering activists who say the already marginalized group risks facing further attacks.

Earlier this month, Rolling Stone newspaper -- not affiliated with the U.S. magazine with the same name -- featured 100 pictures of Uganda's gays and lesbians. Next to the list was a yellow strip with the words "hang them."

The story comes about a year after a Ugandan lawmaker introduced a measure that calls for the death penalty or long jail terms for those who engage in some homosexual activities.

The proposal was shelved after an international outcry.

"For me, the first thing that crossed my mind was, 'how can this country allow such things to happen?" said Julian Pepe, who was also named in the story.

"They were calling for our hanging, they are asking people to take the law into their hands. We are all terrified."

The 29-year-old said she's a lesbian.

"I came out when I was 12, I have supportive parents who have been there for me," said Pepe, a program coordinator for Sexual Minorities Uganda.

Those named in the story are living in fear, she said. Some have had to change jobs and move to new places.

"We are providing some with psychological support," she said. "People have been attacked, we are having to relocate others, some are quitting their jobs because they are being verbally abused. It's a total commotion."

Uganda's ethics and integrity minister Nsaba Buturo dismissed the activists' accusations.

"They [the activists] are always lying," Buturo said. "It's their way of mobilizing support from outside, they are trying to get sympathy from outside. It's part of the campaign."

Buturo said the anti-gay measure will be addressed and passed "in due course."

"Of course I hope it passes," he said.

Calls to David Bahati, the member of parliament who introduced the anti-gay bill, went unanswered Wednesday.

The paper's editor, Giles Muhame, defended the list and said he published it to expose gays and lesbians, so authorities could arrest them. The weekly paper has been publishing for about six weeks.

After the list was published, the federal Media Council sent a warning to Muhame and ordered the newspaper to cease operating.

But the warning was "not related to the list at all," said Paul Mukasa, secretary of the Media Council. Rather, he said, the letter warned the paper that it was publishing without required permits.

"Until they fill in the required paperwork, they are breaking the law," Mukasa said.

The secretary said the newspaper has initiated the process "to put their house in order."

"Some rights groups have complained that the newspaper is inciting people, but the council is focusing on its lack of paperwork," Mukasa said.

Homosexuality is illegal in most countries in the region, including in nearby Kenya, where sodomy laws were introduced during colonialism.

In Uganda, homosexual acts are punishable by 14 years to life, Pepe said.

"Half the world's countries that criminalize homosexual conduct do so because they cling to Victorian morality and colonial laws," said Scott Long, director of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights program for Human Rights Watch. "Getting rid of these unjust remnants of the British empire is long overdue."

The role religion plays in Africa has a lot to do with the ban, others say.

Olatune Ogunyemi, a professor at Grambling State University in Louisiana, has said that some African constitutions are based on religion, making it possible to justify criminalizing homosexuality.

A post-apartheid constitution bans discrimination against gays in South Africa, the first African nation to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.

50 Cent Has The Gay Community In An Up Roar Over Twitter Comments!

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is mounting a campaign against 50 Cent after the rapper tweeted threatening comments to blogger Perez Hilton last week, including a violent photo of two men in suits running from a mob.

"Perez Hilton calld me douchebag so I had my homie shoot up a gay wedding. wasnt his but still made me feel better,"

Now GLAAD is speaking out...

"It's wrong to make jokes and promote violence against the gay community,"

said GLAAD spokesman Rich Ferraro.

"Taking down the post is not enough. We wanted him to tell his Twitter followers that what he did was wrong."

Even after all of the outrage, 50 Cent continues to get on Twitter posting offensive comments and photos against gays.

A rep for 50 Cent had no comment. But it wasn't the first time 50's run afoul of the gay community. He told Playboy in a 2004 interview,

"I ain't into faggots. I don't like gay people around me, because I'm not comfortable with what their thoughts are . . . I'd rather hang out with a straight dude. But women who like women, that's cool."

His recent Twitter posts have also taken aim at unborn children and pregnant women:

"I wanna do something that impact kids in a positive way, thats why im opening an abortion clinic. Ima call it 50/50 chance,"

one of them read.

Lady Gaga's Afraid Her Parents May Disown Her Because She Is Gay...

Lady Gaga is apparently confused about her sexuality, and is worried that her family would disown her if she fell in love with a woman.

A source revealed:

“GaGa is unsure whether she wants to be with a man or a woman. She’s scared that if she falls for a woman, her family will reject her, because ultimately, they want her to settle down with a man.

Ricky Martin Announces That He Is Gay!

What a sad day for all the single ladies out there..lol!

Ricki Martin is official off the market...well YOUR market....he says his two surrogated sons have inspired him to come out and officially announce that he is GAY!

Lady Gaga Pours Drink On Guy Who Calls Her A Hermaphrodite!

In case you missed it, Lady Gaga reportedly threw a drink over a man who made offensive comments to her in a nightclub in Canada!

Gaga was allegedly in an Ottawa club with friends when an unnamed male made anti-gay remarks to her and fellow singer Adam Lambert, who is gay. He allegedly accused Gaga of being a man and called Lambert a derogatory word.

"Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it," Lady Gaga is reported as saying.

Then male then reportedly called the pair "freaks" and said they were going to hell, to which Lady Gaga replied: "Okay, that's it. Call me anything you want, but when you start calling my friends names, it's over - it's war!"

Then word is after that, miss Lady Gaga poured a drink over his head and made a quick exit from the venue!

New Year=New Laws on Smoking, Texting, Tanning, Marijuana & More!

From texting to smoking to trans-fats and toy guns, a host of new laws taking effect around the U.S. this past New Year's Weekend will clamp down on impolite, unhealthy and sometimes dangerous behaviors - and, hopefully, protect consumers.

NO-SMOKING:

North Carolina remains the nation's largest tobacco grower, but beginning on Saturday smoking is banned in restaurants and bars across the state.

Smoking is now prohibited in restaurants in 29 states and bars in 25. There is also a partial smoking ban in Virginia.


NO-TEXTING:

Supporters hope highways get safer as New Hampshire, Oregon and Illinois join 16 other states that ban texting while driving.

According to the Governors Highway Safety Association, six other states prohibit using hand-held cell phones while behind the wheel.

"This legislation is important and will make our roads safer. No driver has any business text messaging while they are driving," said Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, whose office regulates drivers.

NO-TRANS FAT:

California becomes the first state to ban restaurants, bakeries and other retail food establishments from using oil, margarine and shortening containing trans fats. The law affects oil, shortening and margarine used in spreads or for frying. Restaurants can continue using trans fats to deep-fry yeast dough and in cake batter until Jan. 1, 2011.

The legislation follows moves by several major cities and fast-food chains to ban the substance.

NO MORE BANK LIES:

California has a new host of other consumer-friendly laws against mortgage brokers who give out inaccurate information and banks that fail to inform customers fully of their loan products.

Lenders will also be prohibited from steering borrowers who qualify for fixed-rate loans into riskier, higher-priced loans. Negative amortization loans - which get larger the longer a borrower holds them - will be banned in most cases, and caps will be placed on the penalties loan providers levy when mortgage holders pay off their loans early.

SAVE-THE-GAYS:

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger reversed himself this year by signing into law a bill honoring slain gay rights activist Harvey Milk with a special day of recognition. Each May 22 - Milk's birthday - will be "Harvey Milk Day." The Republican governor vetoed similar legislation in 2008.

ANTI-PAPARAZZI:

Schwarzenegger also signed an anti-paparazzi bill making it easier for celebrities to sue media outlets that use photographs taken when subjects have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as when they are in their backyard. The change updates a decade-old law that allows fines against paparazzi who illegally or offensively take photos or recordings. It allows lawsuits against media outlets that pay for and make first use of material they knew was improperly obtained.


NO-DOG-FIGHT-WATCHING:

Watching an illegal dogfight will also cost you more. A new California law increases jail time for spectators from a maximum of six months to one year; Fines are increased from $1,000 to $5,000.


NO-TOY-GUNS OR LIGHTERS:

A new Arkansas law prohibits selling toy guns that look like the real thing, but major retailers say they don't expect a major impact. Imitation guns used for theater productions and other events are exempted, as are replicas of firearms produced before 1898, BB guns, paintball or pellet guns.

Nevada and Louisiana have banned the sale of novelty lighters - devices designed to look like cartoon characters, toys or guns or that play musical notes or have flashing lights.

"They're cute, they're little, but they can be deadly," said the Nevada bill's co-sponsor, Assembly Majority Floor Leader John Oceguera, D-Las Vegas.


NO-UNDERAGE-TANNING:

In Texas, teenagers under 16½ cannot use a tanning bed, and those between 16½ and 18 must have a parent or guardian's written permission.


RELIGION:

In Oregon employers are prohibited from restricting employees from wearing religious clothing on the job, taking time off for holy days, or participating in a religious observance or practice.



But there are also changes in laws decriminalizing certain behaviors.


YES TO MARIJUANA POSSESSION:

Beginning Friday (Jan 8th), pot smokers in the Colorado mountain resort of Breckenridge, for example, will not face city charges for possession. Criminal penalties for those over 21 who possess small amounts of marijuana or smoking paraphernalia have been eliminated.


But marijuana users are not off the hook: Pot possession remains a state crime except for patients with medical clearance. And don’t puff on the slopes: Use of marijuana at the Breckenridge ski area is still illegal under the Colorado Ski Safety Act.

And selling marijuana is still a felony.
