Find Out Why The Black Eyed Peas Fans Are Furious About Their Super Bowl Half-Time Performance

So the B.E.P. fans were furious about their halftime performace, why? Not because they looked like they were aliens invading our country, but because...........they did not get paid!

In fact, most acts that perform at the Super Bowl aren't paid to do so, according to Forbes.

The reason? These groups stand to gain a lot more from the exposure alone. Last year, a record 106.5 million viewers tuned in to the Super Bowl, and this year's game is expected to exceed that.

“The platform that these artists are given can’t be replicated,”

said Paul Swangard, managing director of the University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, one of multiple experts who confirmed to Forbes that halftime performances are unpaid.

“It’s a basic financial equation. What would you have to do as a band to have a conversation with a third of the country? I think the arrangement makes a lot of sense.”

Fergie To Launch Her Own Perfume.

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is set to launch her own line of perfume.

The rocker has associated with beauty giant Avon to bring out her signature scent.

Fergie is delighted to join the list of stars including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson and Salma Hayek, who have worked with Avon.

“Each one (Avon celebrity) is completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose,” says Fergie.

“It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table. I’m a bit more rock ‘n’ roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.”

The perfume will be available in stores next year.
