"Transformers: Dark of the Moon," the final installment in the "Transformers" trilogy, is Michael Bay's way of making amends for the mess that was 2009's "Revenge of the Fallen." Bay realized he'd let fans down and embarked on a 3D mission of superior special effects, new characters, and a better script. Some inspiration from "Avatar's" James Cameron didn't hurt in ensuring "Transformers" lived up to its mantra of being "more than meets the eye."
