High hopes were had for the bloodiest, most gruesome warrior film of the summer. The "Conan the Barbarian" remake of the 1982 film, starring a fur loincloth-clad Arnold Schwarzenegger, was given a more rugged edge and longer skirt with new Conan Jason Momoa. The Hawaiian husband of Lisa Bonnet seemed the perfect fit after his impressively ferocious displays on HBO's "Game of Thrones." However, audiences didn't agree he or the film measured up to "The Help," "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World" in 4-D, and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," which all had more impressive weekend box office numbers.
