Lyfe Jennings Sentenced To Three 1/2 Years! [PHOTO]

Lyfe Jennings has finally reached a conclusion to the 2008 conflict with his babymama Joy Pound and it isn’t pretty. Details below:

Lyfe faced an Atlanta judge today and was sentenced to three and a half years jailtime as a result of that fateful confrontation with his ex-girlfriend. He was charged with DUI test refusal, criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or attempting to elude a police offer.

Yesterday Jennings asked his Twitter fans to pray for him before posting his final goodbye late last night.

According to reports, at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday, October 19th, Smyrna Police responded to a report of gunshots. As they approached the scene they spotted, Columbia recording artist, Lyfe Jennings (born Chester J. Jennings) leaving the area in his 2005 red Corvette.

Jennings, who was incarcerated from 1992-2002 on an arson charge, led the police on a chase, which ended when he crashed his car.

The 35 year-old crooner was arrested and charged with attempting to elude and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which are both felonies. He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusal to take a sobriety test.

Lyfe was finally convicted for these charges and will now be serving 3 and a half years.
