Michael Jackson's Home Turned Into A Museum!

Michael Jackson fans are being presented with the opportunity to catch a glimpse of their idol’s home which is being recreated for a world exclusive exhibition in the Republic of Ireland.

Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons in Co Kildare will display, until May, 30 pieces of furniture personally commissioned by the King of Pop for the Kent mansion where he planned to live in during his comeback concerts.

The items, including a luxurious 16ft sofa and a feather-trimmed armchair hand picked for Elizabeth Taylor, will later go under the hammer at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas by celebrity agents Julien’s Auctions.

Phil Donnelly, of Newbridge Silverware, revealed two 40ft containers were used to transport the 17 items of custom-built furniture overseas for the exclusive showing.
“This is literally going to be what Michael Jackson’s home was going to be like during those series of concerts. ‘Fans are going to get the chance to see it themselves,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

She added:
“We felt we would be honoured to hold this event. It’s in celebration of him and a tribute.”

A part of the proceeds from the sale are to be donated to charities MusiCares and Joshua’s Heart.
