The Bang Bang Club
I have been waiting for this film to come out for a while now and this weekend is the big movie theatre premiere. The Bang Bang Club was the name given to four photographers present during the apartheid in South Africa. The true stories of Greg Marinovich, Kevin Carter, Ken Oosterbroek, and Joao Silva come to life on screen, revealing how these four men coped with working in violent and painful environments to capture a picture that would tell a story to the world and eventually led to the birth of a new South Africa.
