Remember the hats that Princes Beatrice and Eugenie wore to Prince William and Kate’s wedding? The hats that we all gawked at and some even laughed at due to how odd they were. Well, Princess Beatrice is having the last laugh now!

Since so much attention was given to the Princess’ headgear, she decided to put the hat up for auction on eBay and make some money for charity. I know what you’re thinking, who would buy that hat? Well, with three days left of bidding, the hat has already surpassed $33,000.
I am confident that those bidding are passionate about this hat strictly because it was worn by royalty and created by a British fashion icon, Philip Treacy, who has designed hats for Kate Middleton, Victoria Beckham, and other members of the Royal family. I doubt the individual will wear the hat, but rather showcase it in their home, office, or shop.
Or am I completely wrong and there are people who think this hat is extremely fashion forward. Are there people out there who think this?
Bidding ends May 22nd at 9 am and all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
