Spring & Summer Trend: Dyed Denim

I am really quite excited about this trend! Summer is all about brights and finally, adding a pop if colour is no longer reserved for shirts, shoes, jewellery and hats. Dyed denim has been spotted on lots of a-list celebrities thanks to many fashion designers creating bright and bold bottoms for their Spring and Summer 2011 fashion lines. If you're not quite sold on the bold colours, try a more subtle dye like champagne or a soft pink. This look is perfect for anyone who is ready to venture away from dark or light denim.

This will help you feel like you aren't too over-the-top. You'll soon realize you love the pop of colour and will find yourself looking for different items to accessorize and compliment your brights. 

So you tried it out and feel brights and bolds don't work for you. That doesn't mean you can't rock the dyed denim look. Try softer, subtler shades like the featured butter-cream stretch jeans. 

For the ones who have tried the dyed denim look and fell in love? Go all out! Try bold shades that are hot right now like electric blue. The key to making this look work is to keep it simple and compliment the pant with neutrals like beiges or stick to simple black or white colour schemes. That doesn't mean that adding more colour can't work. Just remember to work your outfit around the pant- it is beautiful, after all!
