Captain America Wins at the Box Office

In the end, it turned out that it wasn't a close race at all. Captain America: The First Avenger topped the box office this weekend reeling in approximately $65.8 million dollars.
 
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 dropped 72% in its second week, but still placing high enough to finish in second with $48.1 million dollars in ticket sales. The final film is expected to be the most profitable film out of the entire series. 

Finally, coming in third with $18.5 million dollars is the romantic comedy, Friends with Benefits, starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. According to variety.com the film was projecting $20 million, making the film just shy of its weekend goal.
