Kate Gets Fancy For Tree Planting...

Image taken from fashionmagazine.com

A romantic day deserves a romantic outfit, even if it is ridiculously inappropriate for a tree planting ceremony.

I like this grey Catherine Walker dress better than last nights purple Issa number. Then again, I am a sucker for exaggerated collars and the colour grey. It's a colour that looks good on most women, like black and white, so we naturally gravitate towards it when shopping.

This shot also doesn't capture the deep V at her back. She accessorized with a lighter grey clutch and matching pumps.

While at Rideau Hall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge mingled with other couples that shared the same anniversary as them, only these couples had been together for over 50 years.

Following the tree planting ceremony, the pair went to the War Museum where they unveiled a new mural that depicted areas near Vimy Ridge.
