Kate Loves J Brand

This is new, royalty in denim?

The Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing the same pair of J Brand pants three days in a row. Unless of course she has more than three pairs of the same pant in her suitcase and is trying to fool us into believing  she is 'recycling' clothes. Hmm...

Here's the thing, I can personally vouch for the label and say their denim is flattering, comfortable, and most important, durable! So she really could be wearing the same pant over and over again.

Side note: Isn't that the worst feeling, when a good pair of jeans that fit you well and are extremely comfortable start to fade, fray, or develop large holes in inappropriate places. My favourite pair of denim right now are my Gap 'boyfriend' fit jeans that have started to fray at the bottom and has developed a large hole at the knee.

The hole is trendy, the fraying not so much. I'm clinging on to them for dear life.

Anyways, J Brand jeans are durable. I've had the same pair of skinny's for over 2 years and no fraying or holes...yet. The catch is, you have to be ready and willing to dish out around $180+ per pair. You'll have the jeans for longer, but you have to be willing to pay the price.

Back to the Duchess! I think I might be starting to believe this image she's selling. About being really down to earth and not excessive.

On Monday, Kate competed against Will in a dragon boat race in Prince Edward Island-- he won! The J Brand '811' navy twill mid-rise skinny pant made its first appearance.

The Duke and Duchess landed in Yellowknife, Canada yesterday and she was spotted in the same navy pants and beige shoes. She matched with a military inspired Burberry long-sleeve.

Earlier today Kate was spotted at the Yellowknife airport about to board a jet to Slave Lake in the same J Brand pants. She also recycled the same Smythe blazer she wore when she left London for Ottawa. She completed her outfit with an adorable pair of Nine West wedges.
