New Year's Eve is a romantic comedy that focuses on the lives of several singles and couples all living in New York City who are somehow connected. The film is set during New Year's Eve (clearly) and stars Ashton Kutcher, Josh Duhamel, Jessica Beil, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert De Niro, Alyssa Milano, Michelle Pfeiffer, Carla Gugino, Katherine Heigl, and Abigail Breslin.
With this star-studded cast, you have to expect this film will do well? Somehow, that's not always the case...
Both Valentine's Day and He's Just Not That In To You received poor reviews from the critics and did ok in sales. Remember, with a cast that big, the payroll is stiff.
I was entertained by both the predecessors but then again, I am a sucker for a good romantic comedy.
