Prince Albert of Monaco married Charlene Wittstock during a civil ceremony that took place earlier today in Monaco. Over the past few days, rumors had been circulating about Charlene having a bad case of cold feet and the media was predicting she would flee before the wedding. It was even reported that the Royal family had confiscated her passport after having found her at an airport in Nice with a one way ticket back to South Africa.
In the end they both said oui and the marriage took place. The Princess of Monaco married in an unconventional sky blue Chanel jacket and dress, wearing her hair pulled back in a simple up-do. A little understated for a wedding, no?
The couple later appeared on the balcony at the Prince’s Palace where they shared a kiss and waved to the crowd of people. A catholic church service will take place tomorrow. Hopefully she will be more dressed-up.

Kate wore a bohemian style vintage lace wedding dress by John Galliano. The dress had a sheer overlay that was covered in rhinestones and her veil had floral detailing. She wore Manolo Blahnik shoes that are rumored to have a custom made blue sole.
Choosing a Galliano design is undoubtedly a statement. She will stand by the designer during his time of need as he did with her when she suffered from her many public meltdowns (hopefully he continues to get the help he needs.)
According to Flare magazine, "Moss is also set to wear three separate looks by Stella McCartney--a silk chiffon dress for the first dance, a beaded mini-dress and finally, a white three-piece suit for her going away outfit. McCartney also made the dresses for the bridal party.
