President Obama's Oval Office Speech: End of Combat Mission In Iraq "Operation Iraqi Freedom is over" [Video & Text of Speech

The text of President Barack Obama's speech from the Oval Office on the Iraq war:

Good evening. Tonight, I'd like to talk to you about the end of our combat mission in Iraq, the ongoing security challenges we face, and the need to rebuild our nation here at home.

I know this historic moment comes at a time of great uncertainty for many Americans.

We have now been through nearly a decade of war. We have endured a long and painful recession. And sometimes in the midst of these storms, the future that we are trying to build for our nation - a future of lasting peace and long-term prosperity may seem beyond our reach.

But this milestone should serve as a reminder to all Americans that the future is ours to shape if we move forward with confidence and commitment. It should also serve as a message to the world that the United States of America intends to sustain and strengthen our leadership in this young century.

From this desk, seven and a half years ago, President Bush announced the beginning of military operations in Iraq. Much has changed since that night. A war to disarm a state became a fight against an insurgency. Terrorism and sectarian warfare threatened to tear Iraq apart. Thousands of Americans gave their lives; tens of thousands have been wounded. Our relations abroad were strained. Our unity at home was tested.

Health Care Bill Passed By House of Representatives + President Obama Speaks on Bill! [VIDEO]

WASHINGTON - Delivering a hard-fought victory in President Barack Obama's year-long pursuit of a national healthcare overhaul, a divided House tonight narrowly voted to approve a Senate-passed healthcare bill which both supporters and opponents call historic!

The 219-212 vote will be delivered to the president's desk; A healthcare bill that he finally can sign.

This was the first step of a two-part drama unfolding in the House this evening, with another late vote expected on a package that reconciles differences between this Senate-passed and now House-approved bill and another measure which the House approved in November.

Together, the two bills would present the president with a long-sought triumph for the signature domestic agenda of his presidency, a bid to offer health insurance to an estimated 32 million Americans who are uninsured and improve the coverage of those with insurance.

The second measure, also expected to pass the House tonight, will have to go to the Senate, where leaders hope to approve it by a simple majority vote under a process of "budget reconciliation.'' Any changes made in the Senate, however, will return that legislation to the House before the president can sign the second bill.

"I know this bill is complicated, but it's also very simple,''
said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) during the final debate
"Illness and infirmity are universal, but we are stronger against them together than we are alone…. In that shared strength is our nation's strength.''

A NYC Man Gets Put On Blast By His Mistress: Cost Her $250,000!

IN CASE U MISSED IT: An NYC man got put on blast by his mistress who put pictures of them up all over the city on billboards.

Not just any NYC man, Charles E. Phillips president of Tech Conglomerate Oracle and a member of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Charles reconciled with his wife and YaVaughnie Wilkins who had a long term affair with Charles spent well up to $250,000 on billboards in NY, San Fran, and ATL blasting him! The billboards were taken down but were said to have costed an estimated $50,000 per sign to show the world their relationship.

A spokesperson for Charles says that while Charles and YaVaughnie Wilkins did have an 8 1/2 year relationship, that has since ended and he wishes her the best. A website was also made to display their affair at www.charlesphillipsandyavaughniewilkins.com but has since been shut down.

Some may say she went too far, or maybe she is wrong for being with a married man or you canlook at both sides and see that she wanted to show everyone it's not ok to play with woman's minds...but at the end of the day,

Was it all worth it?

Diddy Wants To Get Adopted By President Obama & He Still Loves J-Lo??

Diddy shared that he has a dream to get in The White House - as an adopted child of the president. He shares some interesting thoughts in an upcoming interview for Playboy's January/February issue.

“I ain’t gonna lie – if God said I could pick one person to be my father, I’d want to be Sean Combs Obama,” Diddy told Playboy “That’s how dope he is. I hope he reads this interview and adopts me. I wouldn’t even have to be in the will. I got my own money!”

He also admits to dating a top Hollywood actress but doesn't name any names.
“There was a young lady who’s an actress. She’s famous. I liked her, so I was willing to do whatever I had to do… We started spending time together, but we were prisoners of our celebrity,” he explained. “She took me out to dinner after we got to know each other and hit me with a line that was straight out of the movies. She said, ‘You know this will never work, right?’ I knew she was right… This was going to shake up the world. It would have been a Puff and J. Lo situation, part two.”
(There goes that oh so famous dress!)

Speaking of Jennifer Lopez, Diddy has nothing but kind words for his former flame.

“There are people who come into your life that you’ll always love and respect. She’s definitely one of them. I feel as though we changed each other’s lives,” he continued. “It was a different type of feeling. It was being in love with somebody who understands who you are because they are exactly like you.”

Barack Obama Calls Kanye West a "JACKASS"

Obama was recorded talking about the Kanye West incident in an "off-the-record" conversation. So really this is not ethically right to put out....but they did! and I GOTTA LET YOU HEAR IT! =D

ABC News senior vice president Jeffrey Schneider said that the organization had reached out to the White House and CNBC in a series of telephone calls.

"It was a mistake. It's certainly one that we regret. We certainly made that very clear to CNBC and the White House," he said.
