Brittany Murphy: What Pills Was She Taking?/ Mom Left Everything in Will...

More updates in the Brittany Murphy death.

First I would like to say I am finding it hard for me to blog about Brittany's death..gets me all choked up..I felt like I knew her by the movie roles she played. And with her being such a young girl like myself, it really makes my stomach turn. Some of her meds are said to be mixed with diet pills too...smh.

Brittany Murphy's husband and mother made a frantic attempt to revive her before paramedics arrived ... this according to notes written by an investigator from the L.A. County Coroner's office.

And, there were a shocking number of strong prescription meds on Brittany's nightstand.

TMZ has reviewed the documents, written by Investigator Blacklock. According to his notes, Brittany Murphy "had been complaining of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain" for 7 to 10 days prior to her death. According to the notes, Murphy went into the bathroom at around 7:30 AM Sunday and shut the door.

A half hour later Brittany's mother, Sharon Murphy, went to check on her daughter, opened the bathroom door and "discovered the decedent lying on the floor unresponsive." According to the notes, Sharon yelled for help. Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, who was in bed, heard the screams and ran to the bathroom.

According to the notes, Sharon called 911 and Simon "attempted to revive the decedent by placing her in the shower and running the water."

The notes continue -- "The decedent remained unresponsive and purged her stomach contents prior to the arrival of the paramedics."

When the paramedics arrived, Brittany was "without signs of life."

Paramedics moved Brittany from the bathroom to the master bedroom, where they found a slew of prescription drugs -- "A check of the nightstands revealed large amounts of prescription medication in the decedent's name. Also noted were numerous empty prescription medication bottles in the decedent's husband's name, the decedent's mother's name and unidentified third party names."

According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.

The notes say, "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."

According to the notes, "The night prior to her death, the decedent had consumed some noodles, leftover Thai food, Gatorade, water and tea with lemon."

The notes also say Brittany had a history of hypoglycemia and was hospitalized in April 2009 for low blood sugar while on location in Oregon."

Monjack told the investigator during the 7 to 10 days prior to her death, Brittany complained of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pains but he was not overly alarmed because "she often suffered from severe menstrual pains."

The investigator spoke with police at the scene, who told him "foul play is not suspected."

Her will was also retrieved... Sources say, "She left everything to her mother."

—A source once close with the late Brittany Murphy, further confirming TMZ's report that Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, was not included in her will

Murphy supposedly drafted her will before meeting Simon, but there has been no indication Brittany amended it postmarriage.

Her grieving friends are hardly surprised, either...

"Brittany's mother was very involved in her life," dishes our insider. "She really pushed Brittany into the entertainment industry."

Friends of Murphy often say the two were a mother-daughter package deal. Brittany's mom, Sharon Murphy, lived with her daughter for years, even with husband Simon in their Hollywood home. Um, anyone else think that's a little bit weird? And personal boundaries weren't the only blurry lines crossed between Brittany and her mother.

"[Sharon] seemed to cause problems for Brittany professionally," says our source, quite cautiously. "I remember hearing stories that [Sharon] was a nutcase, getting banned from sets, and was even part of the reason Brittany and Ashton broke up."

"I bet changing her will didn't even cross [Brittany's] mind," says the friend. "Sharon was the closest person in Brittany's life, and her mom made sure it was always that way. It seemed like they both relied on each other."

Brittany Murphy's Last Known Video Interview: Looks Frail & Talks Of Next Life/ Celeb Friends Says Their Last Thoughts.

As news of Brittany Murphy’s death reached media outlets, many of Brittany’s coworkers, friends and fans took to Twitter to mourn the young star and remember her warmly. Alicia Silverstone, Brittany’s costar in Clueless, spoke to People Magazine about Brittany, saying “I always felt connected to her as we shared a very special experience in our lives together. I feel love in my heart for her – and hope she is at peace. This is truly sad.”

Alicia also said that though they “didn’t stay in close touch over the years” she was still “so saddened to hear this news. I loved working with Brittany. She was so talented, so warm, and so sweet.” Others chimed in on Twitter:

Following Sunday’s shocking death of actress Brittany Murphy at age 32, her friends and admirers in Hollywood are sharing their grief and memories on Twitter and elsewhere.

Brittany's Ex, Ashton Kutcher said:

"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine," Ashton wrote on his Twitter page. "My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."

Ashton, whose romance with Murphy blossomed on the set of the comedy Just Married, added a special note to Brit herself, which really mad me tear...

"See you on the other side kid," he wrote in a separate post.

Other celebs also said their peace...

Lindsay Lohan: “My deepest condolences go out to all of Brittany Murphy’s loved ones& may she rest in peace….She was a great talent w/a beautiful soul xo”

Kim Kardashian:

“I am in shock that [Brittany] Murphy has died! Clueless is my all time favorite movie. My prayers go out to her family & husband”

Khloe Kardashian: “OMG!!!! This is horrible news when anyone passes. I’m so sorry for her family. Send prayers out please!”

Jessica Simpson: “Brittany Murphy was an incredible ray of Light to so many people. Her smile was contagious. My prayers are with her family and loved ones.”

Fred Durst: “What a sweet human being. My prayers are with her friends and family.”

Film critic Roger Ebert: “She had a genuine quality.”

Jeff Bowler, who produced the just-released film Across the Hall co-starring Murphy, tells UsMagazine.com: “It’s truly a tragedy what happened. She was a great person with a huge heart.”

It's pretty clear that Brittany was loved and respected by many in the Hollywood community, and it’s nice to such respectful tributes to her life and work. [As I said previously, I was and still am a big fan of hers and watch the movies she was in because of her! She is also a young women close to my age and it's just heart breaking]

Meanwhile, others haven’t been so kind or respectful. Perez Hilton’s initial report on Brittany’s death read...

“People just don’t typically die at 32 of natural causes!!!!!!! Absolutely devastating. Especially because this comes as no surprise! We, and those who knew Brittany personally, saw this coming. That does not make this any less horrible.”

Many news agencies are going through their archival footage of Brittany, and it’s pretty much established that her last public appearance was for the opening of Tt Collection’s Pop-Up shop in Los Angeles. Many outlets described her appearance at the time as “emaciated” or “bony.”

In her last appearance/ interview, Brittany shared concerns about her frail frame.

"I am a bit thinner now than what I would like to be," Murphy, 32, admitted to Fox News' just 2 ½ weeks before her death on Sunday.

For years there has been rumors of her having an eating disorder and drug problems that she denied. She was quick to credit her workout routine...

"I was a ballerina for a long time...I still take ballet lessons now - what it does to your body is incredible."

She also said she wanted to have a baby in the new year,
saying “As far as having a New Year’s resolution, I’d love to have a child next year. But that’s kind of a large one!” She also described herself as “very blessed to have a really great loving husband. … I spend more time with my family than anyone else in the world.”

[Really sad....]

Unfortunately, Brit appears to be quite thin in the video; her eyes also seem dilated. And while she's articulate, something just seems to be... off. It's kind of hard to explain—and not entirely appropriate to speculate in more than a general sense—so we'll let you watch and decide for yourself.

This is her last known photo...

Brittany Murphy Dies At Age 32... [Updates Included] Husband Does Not Want Autopsy.

UPDATES 11:30pm:

Brittany Murphy was very ill in the hours before she went into cardiac arrest and died, sources tell TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taking prescription meds for flu-like symptoms she had been experiencing for several days. We're told Murphy began vomiting early Sunday morning and told family members she was feeling very ill.

Sources say various prescriptions were found in the home -- written for Brittany Murphy, husband Simon Monjack, and Brittany's mom. One source says, "There were a lot ... a lot of prescriptions in the house."

Law enforcement sources tell us Brittany collapsed in the bathroom and somehow ended up in the shower ... there was, we're told, a significant amount of vomit in the immediate area.

We're also told authorities did not find illegal drugs in the house, but Brittany was definitely taking various prescription meds.

Sources say her condition and the meds could have triggered a heart attack, but it's too early to know. An autopsy will be performed Monday or Tuesday. Her husband does not want an autopsy (I wonder why) but ultimately it's the Coroner's call.

TMZ has also learned Brittany Murphy's mother, who found Murphy unconscious in the shower and called 911, told paramedics her daughter had a history of diabetes. We have not been able to confirm if Murphy did indeed have diabetes, and if so, whether it contributed to her death.

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was only 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Brittany Murphy starred in one of my all time favorite movies , "Clueless." She was also in many others like "8 Mile," "Don't Say a Word," "Just Married," "Uptown Girls" & more.

Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, was rushed to a hospital almost exactly one month ago, November 28th at LA, after his plane landed at LAX. And we're told Britney didn't think it was serious enough for her hubby to go to the hospital, but the fire department disagreed. Not sure if that is connected but just sounds ironic.

The story of Brittany passing is still developing but it sounds to me she might not have been living such a "healthy" lifestyle. She is way too young to be having Cardiac Arrests. =/

It really bothers me to see something like this, well 1st because I am a fan of hers for years and watch movies to see her, and 2nd she is a young women like myself. Young people take care of yourselves, as you can see we are not healthy just because we are young.....treasure life.
