Remember how I reported that SONY has blocked Beyonce's YouTube channel? Well those were the exact reports that were out. But no need to panic, a fancy redesigned YouTube is on its way, according to a post on YouTube's official weblog.

YouTube is changing its video pages to introduce a few new features, including a playlist interface and revamped rating system, which favors a "like/dislike" rating system over a star ranking.

If you go to Bey's channel now, videos are back up and running!

Kelly Rowland Furious At Beyonce's Dad for Destiny's Child's Lawsuit!

Kelly Rowland is furious that she, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams have to head to Chicago on Tuesday for a lawsuit regarding copyright infringement.

As I previously reported (click here for full story), The group will be facing a copyright infringement lawsuit for their song “Cater 2 U.” According to a source, Rowland blames the legal mess on Beyoncé’s father Mathew and his sneaky tactics for lining his daughter’s pockets with cash. Apparently, Mathew has a long history of trying to get songwriters to add Beyoncé’s name to songs she didn’t compose, just so she gets publishing royalties, and now it’s coming back to haunt him.

Kelly who at one point was cordial with Beyonce has since distanced herself from the Knowles family making things very tense. This could get real ugly.

Beyonce to Testify In Court Over Copyright Despute?

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly set to testify in court in connection with a copyright dispute, after a man alleged that Destiny’s Child claimed his song as their own.

Singer/songwriter Rickey Allen had filed a lawsuit against the girl group in 2006, claiming their 2004 track Cater 2 U was inspired by a song he composed with the same title, which he first copyrighted in the mid-1990s.

Allen’s song is about “relieving the stress of a significant other” and he insists even the lyrics in Destiny’s Child’s song are suspiciously similar to his.

He claimed he handed over a version of his song to producer Maurice Joshua, who is said to have later worked with the Bootylicious hitmakers in the studio. Joshua maintains he never held a copy of the song.

Lawyers for the trio, which disbanded in 2005, asked to throw out the case but U.S. District Judge James Holderman has now given the go-ahead for the copyright case to hit a Chicago, Illinois courtroom on December 10.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper, Beyonce is expected to take the stand, because her legal team claims she came up with the idea for the track.

“She is perhaps the most important witness for the defendants,” Contactmusic quoted a statement in their legal filing as stating.

#PingBlackFriday Clue #3

“Do we say (Beyonce’s) responsible for copying? Yes. But there’s no such thing as innocent copying, even if it’s unintentional. The jury will decide the notion that these are simple coincidences,” Allen’s lawyer Matt Wildermuth added.

The trial was previously delayed due to Knowles’ busy schedule.

Lil’ Wayne Sued For Copyright Infringement?

Rumor has it, Thomas Marasciullo claims his voice was used without his permission on "Like Father, Like Son" such as “Respect” as well as tracks from Birdman’s 2007 album, 5 Star Stunna, according to BBC News.

Marasciullo said Lil’ Wayne and Birdman asked him to record some “Italian-styled spoken word recordings” back in 2006. He wasn’t aware the recordings were actually used on the albums until his daughter stumbled across the song “Respect” when trying to download a ringtone.

In addition to Weezy, it is said that Marasciullo is also suing Birdman and Cash Money Records as well as various music distribution outlets for unspecified damages.
