Rihanna Speaks On Her Father's Betrayal.

After breaking her silence and discussing the now -- and unfortunately -- infamous pre-Grammy assault at the hands of then-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna continues to open up to the media.
In a recent interview, RiRi explains why she hasn't spoken to her father in over a year.

"He kind of did something that was really upsetting. He turned his back on me and went to the media. He got paid to talk about stuff -- all these little interviews he was doing after the whole situation in February. I hadn't spoken to him and he was speaking as though we did. It was so disappointing to me," Rihanna said in an interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

The singer's dad, Ronald Fenty, was one of the first and few people close to Rihanna who went to the media after the Feb. 8 to speak on behalf of her family. Now, Fenty, who hasn't been in contact with Rihanna since arriving at one of her shows drunk, claims he's been trying to reconcile with his famous daughter.

"That sounds very strange to me, seeing as I've been the one trying to reconcile with him forever," she said of her father's recent claims.

Rihanna goes on to explain that she wasn't planning on becoming estranged from her father and claims he's been evading her calls. "I didn't think it was going to be a thing where we weren't talking to each other. I just thought: 'You just need some time away right now.'"

She add, "Every time I tried to call him after that, that was it. I contacted him on numerous occasions -- father's day, his birthday -- and just nothing ... It's funny that you're saying he's trying to reconcile. He has my number."

Lil’ Wayne Sued For Copyright Infringement?

Rumor has it, Thomas Marasciullo claims his voice was used without his permission on "Like Father, Like Son" such as “Respect” as well as tracks from Birdman’s 2007 album, 5 Star Stunna, according to BBC News.

Marasciullo said Lil’ Wayne and Birdman asked him to record some “Italian-styled spoken word recordings” back in 2006. He wasn’t aware the recordings were actually used on the albums until his daughter stumbled across the song “Respect” when trying to download a ringtone.

In addition to Weezy, it is said that Marasciullo is also suing Birdman and Cash Money Records as well as various music distribution outlets for unspecified damages.
