With Football Back, it's a free agent frenzy! There are tons of your favorite players getting traded to new teams.

Check out some of these recent NFL trades...

Chad Ochocinco --- New England Patriots

Albert Haynesworth --- New England Patriots

Reggie Bush --- Miami Dolphins

Matt Moore --- Miami Dolphins

Vince Young --- Philadelphia Eagles

Nnamdi Asomugha --- Philadelphia Eagles

Matt Hassleback --- Tennessee Titans

Kevin Kolb --- Arizona Cardinals

Willis McGahee -- Denver Broncos

Matt Moore -- Houston Texans

Johnathan Joseph -- Houston Texans

Alan Branch --- Seattle Sea Hawks

Roy Williams -- Chicago Bears

Ray Edwards --- Atlanta Falcons

Mike Sims-Walker --- St. Louis Rams

Wondering if OchoCinco will keep his signature "85" jersey number? Well since there is already a #85 on the New England Patriots, Aaron Hernandez, Ocho is willing to pay Aaron ANYTHING to keep his number.

Reports say Ochocinco -- who CHANGED HIS LAST NAME to match his jersey number a few years ago -- feels "no number is too high."

Football's Back! Players Approve Deal To End NFL Lock Out (VIDEO)

After a frustrating 140 days, the NFL lock out is over and Football is back!

Representatives for National Football League players approved a 10-year labor agreement, ending a four-month shutdown and allowing the U.S.’s richest and most-popular sports league to reopen for business.

NFL Players Association leadership voted unanimously to recommend that players accept the deal and re-establish their union, according to DeMaurice Smith, the group’s executive director.

“Football is back,”
Commissioner Roger Goodell told reporters outside the association’s Washington headquarters.

Teams can begin signing drafted and undrafted first-year players tomorrow; negotiating with, but not signing, other players; and making trades. As of July 29, teams can begin signing free agents and training camps may open 15 days before each team’s first preseason game.

Owners last week approved by a 31-0 vote the decade-long deal that caps team payrolls at about $120 million this season, with players receiving another $22 million or so in benefits. The players must receive at least 47 percent of the league’s revenue, projected at a record $9.3 billion in 2011, throughout the 10 years.

The agreement also limits how much teams can spend on first-year players, allows current players to stay in the league’s medical plan for life and allows them more days off, with fewer offseason practices. The deal also provides between $900 million and $1 billion for retiree benefits.

Star NFL Player Stabbed Violently By WIFE

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is recovering in Broward General Hospital after he underwent surgery for a stab wound police say was inflicted by his wife.

Marshall underwent surgery Friday night, according to ESPN, and is still in ICU this morning. ESPN says no vital organs were hit and he should be OK in 2-3 weeks.

Marshall's wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested last night on a domestic violence charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held on $75,000 bond. According to the police report, his wife told police she acted in self-defense.

Marshall's agent would only say,
"This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery ... We simply ask that his privacy is respected."

Brett Favre Sits Out Of Vikings Game For The 1st Time In 18 Years!

We don't usually do a whole lot of sports news but this is big guys! After 297 consecutive starts over 19 seasons, one of the greatest individual streaks in all of sports, Vikings Quarterback Brett Favre ran into an injury he couldn't beat and sat down. This ended a span of more than 18 years when he took the field for the start of every game!

The 41-year-old Favre had started an astonishing 297 consecutive regular season games, playing through a staggering variety of injuries. But a sprain to his right, throwing, shoulder suffered eight days earlier in the Vikings' triumph over the Buffalo Bills kept him out of Monday night's lineup, even after he gained an extra day of rest when the game was postponed by a snowstorm in the Minneapolis area and moved to Ford Field in Detroit. Tarvaris Jackson started at quarterback for the Vikings.

Favre's streak was the equivalent of 18.6 NFL seasons. The 2,632-game playing streak of legendary Baltimore Orioles iron man Cal Ripken was the equivalent of 16.2 baseball seasons.

"Brett has had an incredible career and his consecutive games streak is remarkable,"
Ripken said in a statement through his spokesman, John Maroon.
"As a football fan I cannot fathom his accomplishment and I appreciate his dedication to and passion for the game."

Favre holds the NFL records for touchdown passes (507) and career passing yards (71,775). He won one Super Bowl, with the Packers, in 1997.

There was immediate speculation that Favre could be placed on the season-ending injured reserve list and that his remarkable NFL career could be over. A three-time NFL most valuable player, Favre has said this will be his final season playing in the NFL - though he has retired and come back before.

It has been a trying season for Favre and the Vikings. Favre contemplated another retirement last offseason but agreed to rejoin the Vikings, who hoped to make a Super Bowl run this season after falling one step shy in 2009, when Favre had what he called the best season of his career.

Instead, the Vikings had a record of 5-7 entering Monday's game. Favre has thrown 18 interceptions and only 10 touchdown passes was the league's 29th-rated passer entering Monday's game.

Favre also has been investigated by the NFL after a report by the Web site Deadspin that he sent inappropriate electronic messages and photos to a former Jets employee, Jenn Sterger, when both were with the team.

And then with the roof collapsing yesterday, it looks like it may be a long year for the Vikings...

Minnesota Vikings Stadium Roof Collapses! (VIDEO)

Minnesota Vikings Stadium Roof Collapses! (VIDEO)

In case you happened to miss it, the roof of the Minnesota Vikings' Metrodome, where they play their home games, collapsed several hours before they were set to the take the field against the New York Giants on Sunday, December 12th. The dramatic Vikings stadium collapse video footage of the event shows the collapse, which happened at 5a.m. Watch it below or click here to watch from your phone!

Sunday morning, covering the field in snow. At first there is a little snow falling then about 10 seconds later the roof collapses right onto the field and buries it in snow. Had it happened while players were on the field and fans were in the stands it could have been catastrophic.

The Vikings-Giants game was rescheduled for tonight and was played at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Ticket holders can choose to get a refund or make the trip to Detroit where they will be able to get an upgraded ticket. The rest of the tickets will be given away in a first come first serve fashion.

The Vikings stadium collapse is just the most recent stumble in what the Minnesota Vikings had hoped would be a Super Bowl season. With the return of Brett Favre and most of the players and coaches returning from the previous year the Vikings had hopes of making another run, but things got off to a disastrous start. They lost three of their first four games. Brett Favre became embroiled in a scandal where he sent text messages, left voicemails for and allegedly sent pictures of his penis to NY Jets employee Jenn Sterger when he had played for them two seasons ago. After seven games they were 2-5 and any hope of the playoffs was all but gone. A rift between head coach Brad Childress and Brett Favre appeared and quickly grew to include much of the team no longer backing the coach. Childress had implored the Viking ownership to make a deal for Randy Moss who turned out to be the old Randy Moss who didn’t try and was a jackass. When Childress cut Moss after only a few weeks that was the end for him. Childress was fired. The Vikings have since won two straight, but they would have to win all four of their remaining games and hope for a miracle to make the playoffs at this point.

More pressing is that they were scheduled to host Monday Night Football next week against the Chicago Bears. While there has been no official word, it is doubtful they could have the stadium fixed in time for that game. If that is the case the odds are the NFL will pick a neutral site for the game to be played at instead of forcing the Vikings to play at Soldier Field and turning it into a home game for the Bears.

Tila Tequila Official Statement On The NFL Star, Shawne Merriman Alleged Domestic Attack!

I got a hold of the the official statement from Tila Telquila's attorney, Los Angeles Based, Alan S. Gutman:

I represent Tila Tequila and have the following statement for release in connection with the incident involving Shawne Merriman:

Shawne Merriman and his advisors have decided that the best defense is a good offense, attacking Tila Tequila in the press with a lot of calculated spin to cover up his illegal and indefensible actions. Fortunately, we as a society will not tolerate a 6'4", 270 pound all-pro NFL linebacker physically assaulting a young lady who is 4'11" and 93 pounds. It is never justifiable to brutally assault, choke, strike and imprison a woman. Once the truth is fully revealed, Mr. Merriman’s fantastic story of how he was trying to keep Ms. Tequila safe will be completely discredited. No one, especially a woman, should ever have to endure what Mr. Merriman did to Tila Tequila.

MY SOURCES TELL ME THAT TILA DID NOT HAVE A CAR THAT NIGHT. SO DRINKING AND DRIVING WAS NOT AN ISSUE.

AND WHAT WE ALL WANT TO KNOW IS WHY SHE WAS TRYING TO LEAVE THAT HOUSE?
