A teaser trailer for the Disney movie John Carter has been released. The trailer does exactly what a teaser is supposed to do, it hooks us! We don't know much yet and that is the point, we are supposed to stay curious until next March.
The film is based on a novel by Edgar Rice Burrough, John Carter, that tells the story of a former military captain named John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) who is transported to a place called Barsoom and quickly discovers that the survival of the planet and its inhabitants is ultimately in his hands.
It comes as no surprise that the teaser was released a week before Comic Con. Smart marketing Disney!
Willem Dafoe and Lynn Collins co-star in the movie that is set to be in theatres on March 9, 2012.
