Relay For Life

Relay for Life is happening this weekend (June 10, 11) from 7 pm to 7 am at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa. The event is more than a fundraiser; it gathers people together to celebrate cancer survivors, to remember those who have lost the battle against cancer, and to raise funds to help find a cure.

You can sign up as part of a team and join the upcoming festivities, which include a cancer survivors ‘Victory Lap’, and a Luminary Ceremony at dusk that pays tribute to lost loved ones.

I think most people have known, a friend, family member, or loved one who has been affected by Cancer. Whether they are survivors or have passed away, this is an opportunity to participate, donate, or volunteer your time for a good cause.

I donated for my grandparents who lost the fight and for two friends who are survivors.

Who will you donate for?
