Remaining two members (Xenia and Dia) from Team Blake

This week’s episode of The Voice was jam packed! Members from team Adam and Cee-Lo battled it out on stage, trying to prove to America why they should be saved from next week’s elimination. To keep things even livelier, eliminations from last weeks performances were being made in between performances.
Let me explain!
Last week, members of Team Blake and Christina performed on stage. Following their performance, Americans could cast votes for their favorite singer, ultimately saving them from elimination. Only one member from each group could be saved by America’s vote.
This is when things get interesting! After seeing who has been saved, each coach has to make an on-the-spot decision and save one more artist from elimination. The other two are immediately sent home.
America took a stand and shocked us all by voting to keep the raspy and rugged Beverley McClellan from team Christina. The artist’s style and personality is anything but conventional but her voice is phenomenal. That is the beauty of this show-we the viewers are not able to dismiss talent based on appearance-we are forced to fall in love with their voices.
It was almost a no-brainer that Christina decided to save her strongest candidate, Frenchie Davis.
It was no surprise that America chose to save Dia Frampton from Team Blake. Her rendition of Kanye West’s Heartless blew up on iTunes, making her a clear fan favorite. However, Blake choosing to save the painfully awkward Xenia was a shocker. Despite her rendition of Jesse J’s Price Tag selling well on ITunes, it was widely speculated that the Blake would save Patrick, an aspiring country superstar. However Blake admitted that he felt could help Xenia grow as an artist more so than the two men he eliminated.
Adam and Cee-Lo will have to go through the same process next week. Based on the performances we’ve seen so far, Javier Colon from team Adam is going to be a huge contender. His version of Angel by Sarah McLachlan was angelic. The song is slowly creeping up on ITunes top 100 purchases making it almost a guarantee that America will save him next week (since that is part of the voting method.)
Is it Tuesday yet?
Take a look at frontrunner Dia Frampton and Javier Colon's recent performances.
