The Voice Recap-- And Then There Were 4

After a short interruption from President Obama, The Voice elimination show aired and the final four contestants were revealed. The show has become infamous because of how unpredictable each episode has been --  up until now. Granted, I did only get three of my four predictions right, but Frenchie Davis was a hail mary for me. I took a risk on her and I was not wrong -- that girl can sing, but so can Beverly.

Prior to last night`s episode, it had been really hard to pin point exactly which contestants would be moving on. Yes, there was always a few frontrunners, but somebody always impressed their coach and made it forward unexpectedly. As the contestants dwindle down,t is becoming easier and easier to find out who will advance and who will leave. For instance, go on Itunes and see who is trending in the top 100 after a performance and you know who is likely moving on.

Dia, Javier, Vicci, and Beverly were all higher in Itunes sales then their ôponents before the elimination episode. Therefore, it was likely that America`s vote would coroborate with those results. The only way to change the outcome would be if the coaches alloted a significant amount of points to Xenia,Casey, Nakia, or Frenchie --  but that did not happen in all 4 scenarios.

Three out of four coaches played it safe. Christina and Blake both split their points down the middle, giving each contender 50 points. America had to make the final decision and they voted to keep Dia and Beverly. Cee-Lo played it just as safe, giving Vicci 49 points and Nakia 51points and America voted to keep Vicci.

Adam was the only coach to have a big disparity in his distribution of points. Javier received 65 and Casey 35.

"I know that looks bad, Case. This doesn't reflect on you guys as artists or performers. I look at you as equals and I think you're both going to have amazing careers, but you're 18, Casey. Javier, I had to play the game a little bit, because I had to advance him. You're both supremely talented, but Javier, I had to see him go to the finals... I can't see you not go to the end. Casey, you're going to be fine, I swear to god. You're going to have the most amazing life singing music," reasoned Adam at last night`s live elimination.

Next week, Dia, Javier, Vicci, and Beverly will perform original songs.

Who do you think will be eliminated next?
