Good evening. Tonight, I'd like to talk to you about the end of our combat mission in Iraq, the ongoing security challenges we face, and the need to rebuild our nation here at home.
I know this historic moment comes at a time of great uncertainty for many Americans.
We have now been through nearly a decade of war. We have endured a long and painful recession. And sometimes in the midst of these storms, the future that we are trying to build for our nation - a future of lasting peace and long-term prosperity may seem beyond our reach.
But this milestone should serve as a reminder to all Americans that the future is ours to shape if we move forward with confidence and commitment. It should also serve as a message to the world that the United States of America intends to sustain and strengthen our leadership in this young century.
From this desk, seven and a half years ago, President Bush announced the beginning of military operations in Iraq. Much has changed since that night. A war to disarm a state became a fight against an insurgency. Terrorism and sectarian warfare threatened to tear Iraq apart. Thousands of Americans gave their lives; tens of thousands have been wounded. Our relations abroad were strained. Our unity at home was tested.

Carmelo Anthony Offers Twitter Fans 5K To Slap Kat Stacks! Stacks Fires Back In Court?! [PHOTOS]
Kat Stacks is on a roll this week...this time with married couple Carmelo Anthony and LaLa.
Melo and Lala got on Twitter and started wilin’ on Kat Stacks after she asked him if he tasted like caramel and questioned his fidelity to La La.
Carmelo then posted an offer of $5,000 to anyone who would slap the sh*t outta her.

After all of this back and forth, Carmelo Anothony's twitter account suddenly got suspended! If you ask my opinion either the NBA/ Twitter or Kat Stacks people's are behind that. I don't think the NBA would be happy with those tweets. But Melo says he was "hacked"....
But Kat Stacks' master plan isn't over yet. She says she is taking Melo to court for promoting violence against women.
Carmelo messed up here by allowing Kat Stacks to get under his skin. These NBA players get fines thousands of dollars just for saying something negative about a call at a game...I wonder how everyone will look at this situation now.
Oh and did I mention Kat Stacks just exposed Soulja Boy a few days ago too? She's like the black widow and they keep falling for her. Beware of Kat Stacks!

Paris Hilton Arrested For Cocaine! Says It Wasn't Hers... GET THE 411
Paris Hilton was arrested for possession of cocaine Friday night in Las Vegas.
According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI (drug-related, not alcohol) and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.
Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine.
Paris' boyfriend, Cy Waits, was arrested as well. He was booked on a charge of DUI.
Sources who have spoken with Paris since her arrest on the Vegas strip late last night say... she insists the purse -- with what we're told contained a small amount of cocaine -- was not hers.
She's hired powerful Vegas lawyer David Chesnoff to handle the case ... and he already got her sprung without posting bail.
You'll recall Paris used the "the-drugs-weren't-mine" defense in South Africa last month, after being detained by police. No charges were filed against her.
As for the Vegas case, as far as we know she was the only woman in the car that was stopped, but she had been partying at a club prior to the bust where other women and purses were present.

Super Producer, Timbaland, Has Suicide Attempt?! Listen to the 911 Call!! [AUDIO]
Yikes! These celebs are having so much drama lately...not like that's anything new. But check this out:
According to sources, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department put out a "possible suicide attempt" APB just before 5 PM PT yesterday. A helicopter and squad cars went on the hunt for the rapper/producer's Escalade.
Here's what we're told happened ... Timbaland was on the phone earlier in the day with his brother-in-law ... deeply upset about something. We're told one of the things that was eating at him was a theft at his Malibu residence a day before. Someone had stolen a crazy expensive Jacob & Co. watch -- valued at $2 million -- and Timbaland suspected it might have been someone he trusted.
Timbaland left his home yesterday and began driving. Family members couldn't locate him, became extremely worried and called the Sheriff's Department.
We're told the helicopter located the Escalade, ground crews pulled Timbaland over and began talking to him. At some point they put Timbaland in a patrol car and took him to his residence, where they continued speaking with him and family members.
Deputies called for paramedics to come and evaluate Timbaland. After the evaluation, paramedics determined Timbaland was not a threat to himself and left.
The Sheriff's Department did say,
"Initial information provided to the Sheriff's dispatch suggested that Mosley [aka Timbaland] might have taken some sort of medication that would make finding him more urgent."
We're told the Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of Timbaland's jewelry and they have possible suspects.
Timbaland called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show, and confirmed someone stole something from him and that he was upset about it ... but says there was definitely no suicide attempt.
Timbaland said he simply took a drive to clear his head, when someone got a little too worried about him and called the cops.

Her follow-ups, “One in a Million” (1996), and “Aaliyah” (2001), were both influential and best-selling, fracturing the sound of traditional R&B.
While other soul stars belted out songs and looked to raise the roof, Aaliyah stayed in the groove, working with collaborators R. Kelly (who she reportedly had a relationship with) , Timbaland, and Missy Elliott, to create beat-driven music with unusual but gripping rhythms, subtle vocals, and dangerously glamorous videos. She cut a mysterious figure in an overexposed field, keeping her private life private, and sweeping her dark hair over one eye like Veronica Lake.
Reports surfaced that he married the then-teenaged Aaliyah; Kelly and Aaliyah annulled their marriage.Soon after the release of her third, self-titled album, however, and just as she was securing a side career as a movie actress, Aaliyah’s career was cut short in a plane crash in 2001. She was 22 years old.
The story is Aaliyah was out filming a music video - she wanted to leave the island early but the only plane available was a smaller propeller plane - which they told her would not be able to accomodate her entire crew plus luggage. They went ahead and did it anyway and the plane crashed and she died. Very sad.....
On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah and eight others were killed in an airplane crash in The Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat". The pilot, Luis Morales III, was unlicensed at the time of the accident and had traces of cocaine and alcohol in his system. Aaliyah's family later filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Blackhawk International Airways, which was settled out of court. Since then, Aaliyah has achieved commercial success with several posthumous releases. Selling over 24 million records worldwide, she has been credited for helping redefine R&B and hip hop and has been named the "Princess of R&B".
Actress Meagan Good recently graced the cover of Krave magazine. Meagan covers topics from roles that are available to African-American females in Hollywood to what a perfect role for her would look like. Meagan Good recently spoke about playing deceased singer Aaliyah in a movie, but for the rest of you:
“I would really like to do Aaliyah’s life story. I was and am a huge fan of hers and think in a way she was our princess Diana. She was very classy, beautiful and carried herself wish such respect for a young age. It would be a great story for young girls and a great example of believing in and respecting yourself. Another woman’s character I would like to play is Whitney Houston. I have so much respect for, for what she accomplished, what’s she’s been through and what she’s come out of. Creatively I think it would be amazing to go emotionally where she’s been and bring it to life."

The question on most people's minds are.....WTH are you doing chilling with Kat Stacks anyways?!! She is known forhaving sex with dudes, exposing them and setting them up.
